With the most recent resuscitation of the Matrix franchise in addition to the current events happening in the world, New York fashion photographer Eli Jules was inspired to reenact one of the most revolutionary and fashion-provoking movies of all time. We are indeed living in the times of extreme polarity and unreality, which is soulfully depicted by model Yabi Drame as he crumbles behind the trenched weight of his own reality and the bitter unsettling truth. The options are clear but the choice is as difficult as the interpretation itself. Choose the red pill and accept his own reality as daunting and sorrowful as it’s become or choose the blue pill to remain blissfully unaware.
