CONCEPT: THE CELL MEMBRANE
The cell membrane is a permeable structure that only allows select substances to filter into the cell. Next, as a beauty brand, acts as a filter to its employees and consumers. They imbibe the beauty industry information and refine that information into their clean representation. As a brand, Next embodies purification through their clean beauty and lifestyle products and encourages their employees buyer to purify themselves by means of the workplace and product. The purification process is symbolized through the circulation of the program by going through the cycle of open and dense space, throwing/storing away the trash and impurities through the storage and resource room stumbling upon the transparency of the private offices. Like the cell membrane, the spaces are permeable- able to see but may not be able to get to. Eventually you have come almost full circle through the cycle; however, instead of re-entering the chaos, one is guided to the destination of the view and leisure space which both floor direct to.
