INTO THE SPACE The entrance into the office space is a powerful move introducing the clarity of the space. The Director’s Office, Breakroom, Conference Room, and Open Office area have transparent facades that promote accessibility and allow for inhabitants to feel welcomed. Wayfinding is used through colored and patterned stripes to help all navigate their way about the space.
DINNER OF DIVERSITY The Flex Space is the heart of the building. Inhabitants find themselves searching for it. It is a place where people sit around the dinner table and unite in conversation. A central hangout where people anxiously await what is coming, whether it may be dinner, the next game, or the next topic of conversation. A place to grow in relationships through transparency. The dinner table is where everyone is welcomed and becomes family.
SPACE FOR ALL The upstairs hangout allows for constant community. Those who choose to occupy this space are constantly surrounded by friends whether they are studying, in the computer lab, or having a moment to themselves. This space allows for anything to happen for anyone. Easily accessible from the back entrance, stairs, and LULA lift. Moveable furniture lets inhabitants make the space their own.
