CAD Modelling

In this design, i have assembled various components to create a shower bottle I had to think about what colours to use that will successfully draw in the viewer.

Further into the design process i had to consider how the components fit together This stage would also show details of the design

Thesemethodswillhelpwith thiscourseasiknowhowto operatethesoftwareandthis willbeusefulinmylater yearsinthecourse

After i completed the design i needed to create a bathroom in a style that would compliment the shampoo bottle. i chose this bleak colour scheme to make the green stand out in the bottle’s design

Set Design “Pet Sematary”

I then started to develop the colour scheme of earthy colours for the main part of the sematary however, i wanted the background to contrast with a nightmare red sky to draw attention to the viewer

I wanted to design the set to look eerie and the sematary to look overgrown in the final solution.

Throughout the making of the design i made samples of materials i used to determine the materials in the final solution

I have learned from the stage design to trust the process. no matter what stage it is it as long as i keep a vision in my head of how i want the set design to look i could make it look like that.

Final solution

Formy design i useda cube shape to represent a room. i wantedto focuson the interiorof the cube andsee what effectsi couldmake by doing this. In the interiori decidedto create a spiral of beamswith gapson the left side of the cube. in between each beam to make an interesting lighting effect

Model

Making

I then turned the moodboard to life with a rough card model to highlight key feature of the model such as the spider legs around the model

i wanted the windows on the model to pop out to create a dramatic effect.

I learned from this model how to work within a strict amount of space. i wanted to do this as a challenge because this will be useful in this course.

i wanted to create an ogival arc shape in the doors and windows to create a gothic look

I decided to add moss to the model to give it an older look. I took a sample of this material as i think it is important

Final Solution

Model Making

I loved the contrast the Cathedrals had with the rest of the city from Gothic Architecture to Modern

Interior Drawings

A feature in a room that i love is conversation pits. this is because it brings people together and the sunken level of the room is eye catching

Ienjoyworkingwithanglesof wallstocreateauniquedesign. In thisdesignthewallsaregoing differentdirectionsthiscould reflectonthepersonwitha ambiguousfeeling.

Still Life/ other subjects

IlovedusingtheMediaofaInk pen.inadrawingasitcreates suchaboldoutlookontothe page.

I enjoyed drawing from this rose as each fold holds unique beauty from its vibrant colour

I enjoy layering colours. This is because it can serve different purposes, such as a certain colour or effect of texture on the paper.

I have studied various rosemary beads as i love the way the metal of the cross shines against the beads/metal.

the process of drawing shadows onto still life is my favourite part about drawing. This is because it makes the drawing seem as if its popping out of the paper.
