One of them is the security of the nation. The Hon. Kareem Musa has had the gargantuan task of turning around a department that was marred with a few rogue policemen who have had to be weeded out little by little. The PUP follows the law and many take advantage of that. The stories of police abuse have abated in these past two years. Rogue policemen have been interdicted, demoted, and fired when the process has been followed. The Belize Defence Force in 2020 had a demoralized army who were living in quarters not suited for the persons tasked with defending our territory. The Coast Guard had and have the unenviable task of patrolling all our waters which is 12 miles from shore. In comes the PUP and just like everything else, these issues had to be fixed and fast. Similarly, Minister Marin and Minister of State Mira have been doing just that. Where is the money coming from? Some from dona-
