A pilot project, producing a new method for SCOLA re-cladding projects to align with Hampshire County Council’s 2050 climate targets. The project will inform a long term strategy for the decarbonisation and adaptation of the wider HCC built-estate.

was able to experience the project being developed from first principles with a focus on low embodied carbon design. From attending meetings with specialist consultants, I learned a lot about approaches for whole life carbon reduction, Passivhaus principles and off -site construction.

Some of the work I produced was to explain the differences between the benchmark approach and the low-carbon option, such as the detailed axonometrics on this page.
