Our ARTS Camp campers return to present The Big Fish, a film noir telling of the story of Jonah set to some jazzy showtunes.
SUMMER CLASSES BEGIN ON JUNE 14TH
Youth Summer Class: Sermon Talkbacks! Youth grades 6-12* will start in worship and stay through the sermon. After the sermon message, youth and their adult leaders will go to the Grace Gallery for donuts and conversation.
Children Summer Class: Who is Jesus? Children grades K-5* will start in worship and then be dismissed at the beginning (like we've been doing all year). They will go with Lianna and another adult leader to their classroom for a Sunday School class on the life of Jesus.
*Rising sixth graders are welcome to join the class that best suits them.
AUGUST CAMPING TRIP – ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK
August 21, 6:00 p.m.-August 23, 11:00 a.m.
Returning this summer is our Intergenerational Camping Trip! As summer draws to a close, people of all ages are invited to bring a tent and gather at Rocky Mountain National Park for a weekend of restful joy. This year’s theme, What Every Living Thing Needs, invites us to slow down, breathe deeply, and share life together through nature, conversation, song, and community as we explore the interconnectedness of the whole earth.
We’ll hike winding trails, sleep beneath the stars, and gather around picnic tables for simple meals filled with laughter and good conversation.
As evening settles in, we’ll come together for vespers, singing by lantern light, and s’mores and stories beneath the night sky.
Bring your walking shoes, a warm layer for the evening air, and a spirit ready for wonder, rest, and connection. Open to all ages.

HIGH SCHOOL MISSION TRIP
July 12-17
This summer, four of our high schoolers travel with Matt Hess and Lianna Campos to Kansas City for a service-learning trip. In the context of urban KC, we will explore “Justice 101,” looking at the intersection of economic and racial justice. The congregation has generously supported this trip with prayers and gifts, truly making this trip possible.
In the fall, our mission trippers will share in worship about their experiences. Be sure to keep an eye open for that announcement; you definitely don’t want to miss out on what will certainly be good stories of service, friendship, and future endeavors.

KANEMOTO POOL AND SPLASHPAD
Kanemoto Activity Pool is a heated outdoor activity pool geared for children ages 10 and younger. The pool has a zero depth entry, chair lift entry, fun water slide, and a 4-foot deep end great for jumping and swimming. Families are invited to meet up, beat the summer heat, and have a swimmingly good time!
NATURE WALKS
Nature Walks are a great way to get out and enjoy Creation. Each walk will have an eco-scavenger hunt and we'll bring the binoculars. With wheel-accessible paths, short distances, and low elevation gain, these walks are great for all ages and abilities and are stroller-friendly.
PARK PLAYDATES
We have such cool playgrounds around Boulder County, so let’s meet up and play! Both Scott Carpenter Park and Cottonwood Park have slides, swings, and apparatuses galore, with large fields and nice benches to boot. Families are encouraged to bring their own drinks and snacks.
HOME DEPOT KIDS WORKSHOP
Every first Saturday, Home Depots nationwide host creator workshops for children to safely explore tools and build something! In July, we will meet at the Home Depot in Longmont to build a go-kart. In August, we will meet at the Home Depot in Boulder to build a rocket game. RSVP to Lianna to secure your spot!
