Sorority Life

It is hard to imagine what being a sorority member is all about. Most members will admit that they found sorority membership to be more significant and serious part of their lives than they first imagined. Our sororities believe strongly in many of the same standards. To help you better understand what it is like to actually be a member, our chapter presidents have provided their own “words of wisdom” on what to expect once you join a sorority at LSU.

The LSU Panhellenic Council desires to build a community that reflects the diverse membership within each of our chapters. We hope to make our campus stronger through our commitment to promoting an inclusive community by supporting and advocating for women of all backgrounds throughout the recruitment process. It is our goal that each individual woman is celebrated for her unique identity, perspectives, and contributions to her organization and to our entire community.
