SCHOOL DISTRICTS PROVIDE BUSING PLUS 8 PRIVATE BUS ROUTES
To Our Future Explorers and Families, Thank you for joining us today for our Open House. We encourage you to take full advantage of this experience to discover the programs and opportunities that interest you most. Today is all about what it means to be an Explorer. An Explorer is defined less by where he goes and more by how he approaches the world. Explorers ask thoughtful questions and look beyond surfacelevel answers. At our core, an Explorer is someone motivated to discover, eager to engage deeply, and ready to grow through the journey. Use this day to spend time at the areas that matter most to you, exploring the people, places, and experiences that may shape your future at La Salle. Your student ambassador is here not only to guide you, but also to share his experiences and answer your questions about life at La Salle. Go Explorers!

DAVID PROGRAM
The David Program at La Salle College High School is an additional academic support service for students with specific learning needs. The David Program serves a unique group of college bound students with documented mild learning differences in reading, writing, math, attention issues, organizational difficulties, and/or memory processing. The David Program is available for an additional fee with limited openings each year. The program does not ensure success through the artificial manipulation of grades. Students who are part of the David Program are La Salle College High School students and have to meet the same academic requirements of La Salle College High School. There is no modification to the curriculum and the only accommodation that is guaranteed is extended time with the appropriate documentation. Students apply for admission into the David Program at the same time they apply for admission to La Salle College High School.

MUSIC
La Salle’s expanding choral program has three very active performing groups. Aside from concerts, these groups perform at many functions in and around La Salle and smaller ensembles enhance our school liturgies by providing music. The theater program produces two shows per year and offers students the opportunity to become involved in and learn every aspect of the theatre. Music is considered to be an integral part of a student’s education. Recognizing that students come to La Salle with diverse musical backgrounds, the music department offers courses at a variety of levels to provide an appropriate course of instruction to all. La Salle’s highly regarded and comprehensive music program is unmatched among high schools in the Delaware Valley. Over 400 instrumentalists participate in fifteen performing ensembles. La Salle’s Competition Band and Lab Band consistently receive superior ratings at local and regional jazz competitions. Recently, the Competition Band captured First Place at both the Steel Stacks Jazz Festival and the National Jazz Festival.
