The Lee’s Summit Chamber website, LSchamber.com, has gotten a facelift! The site is now completely mobile responsive, meaning it will autoformat to any device (smartphone, tablet, etc.). The new site, built by New Age Graphics, offers members a more user-friendly experience with new features including new member and upcoming events feeds, volunteer opportunities and more. A newly updated legislative advocacy page features a live bill tracker to keep closer tabs and get updates on bills during the legislative session. Another exciting update is the membership directory, which allows users to find members either categorically or alphabetically, or by typing in a search box, minus the pesky “exact match.” Member information pages also contain maps and links to view additional businesses listed in that category. The new layout allows members to stand out by adding a logo to their listing or sponsoring a category for a fee. Contact Cathy Young at cyoung@lschamber.com to take advantage of this feature. Members will now notice that once they have registered for an event, they will receive an email reminder the day before the event showing them the details, as well as which other businesses have registered to attend. In addition to these improvements, the site also comes with enhanced video and blogging capabilities, so you can look forward to more exciting progress in the coming months. Contact Stephanie Kusek at skusek@lschamber.com with any questions about the new site.
