The 1976 Whittier Greenleaf Yearbook is dedicated to Mrs. Hufman.

One of the many things she does for us is to play the piano. She plays for many groups and occassions ; Harmonettes and the Black History week program are just two of those many things she plays for.

This and because we all like and appreciate her is why we are dedicating this yearbook to a wonderful and greatly talented person

Once again we all say thank-you for everything, we really appreciate it!

Bills

I, Dennis Abele, will my ability to type to Mr. Tapp (if he ever learns how to use it).

I, Audrey Allen, will all my belongings to Althea and Aleta Bradford.

I, Chico Barringer , being of all sound mind and of great body, will Deb Hicks and Louise Green all of my weight; to Regina McWilliams and Audrey Allen, my great grades; to Kaye Hicks, all of my potential; and, last of all, I will the next year's ninth graders all of the wonderful months this year's ninth graders had.

I, Kenneth Barton , will my basketball ability to Mr. Tapp because he has very little finesse in basketball (so Mr. Tapp will have a chance to show his basketball ability to someone else).

I, Leonard Bargantzel , will all my paper to Mr. Ortiz so that he can write his own stories.

I, Ruth Bradford, will all by basketball skill and talent to Audrey Allen.

I, Debora Canby , being of some mind and some body, will to Mr. Simmons some of Elaine and my laugh~ so he can laugh a little every day instead of putting people out of his class.

I, Elaine Canby, will my long hair to Roni Kolb so we can still be friends

I, Rita Carpenter, of sound mind and capable body, will my ability to get upset and over-sensitivity to Mr. Ortiz, so he can act half-way serious and not always be so happy at times; and my ability to drink a daily quota of milk I will to Colleen Flynn, so she can prevent some dreadful things from happening to her.

I, Marsha Conkling, being of sound mind?, will Susan K., John A., & Colleen Flynn to a zoo, so they can teach their tricks to the other animals and a show on the weekends called The Untamed World.

I, Carol Dils, will all my gum wrappers to Mr. Cook and to Susie Schmuck I leave all my sewing skills so she can sew faster.

I, Gina Dolen, being of some mind and some body, will to Mr. Thompson a car factory and a mint, so he can give me all th~ cars and money he owes me and to Mr. Ortiz I will my height, so maybe, just maybe, he can score some points in next year's "Faculty vs. Varsity" basketball game.

We, Duey and Luey, being of dusty minds and lusty bodies, will to Mr. Tapp some originality so that he won't steal nicknames from "the Fonz".

I, Karen Felton, will to Kit McMahan all of my spare boyfriends, so she can have some fun and to Miss Stewart I will all of my skating ability, so she can keep up with all the new eighth graders.

I, Colleen Flynn, being of half-way sound mind and comb in back pocket, will everybody's Cons to Rita Carpenter, so she will no longer be jealous. •

I, Diana Goodman, will to Ronda Beideck my cat, Tabby, since she likes cats so well. I will Julie Tesch a life time supply of combs, so when she loses her comb she won't have to borrow from anyone. To Mr. Tapp I will my spelling ability (you never know, it might be a little better than his). I will Mr. Ortiz a bunch of Certs, which he needs, to replace the ones I ate.

I, Jackie Graham, being of no mind and some body, will to Louise Greene, my height, so when she kisses a dude she won't have to bend down; to Kim Rife, all the money in the world, as long as it's not mine; to Mona Ford, my ability to play flute, so her lips won't get in her way; and my heart to T.S.D. forever.

I, Louise Greene, of sound mind and some body (not much, but some), will my determining heart to M.S.D. and my height to Jackie Graham.

I, Carole Hanson, being of some mind and body, will Jerry Royal a life-size model of me, so he can go "Wow!" the rest of his life.

I, Robin Hebbard, hereby will to Frances my mother's skillet, so she can fry her bacon; to Denise, my spelling genius, so she can correct her own spelling; to B.B., Wy the Spy, Ginger-Ale, and everyone else at our lunch table, a bit of my wonderful self; and to Mr. Ortiz, some height so he can look John VonBusch in the eye.

I, Carla Helmstadter, will all of my learning to my sister, Cathie so she may be able to pass Dr. Hall's and Ms. Fosbury's class.

I, Deb Hicks, of sound mind and beautiful body, will Aileen Mc Williams, Dietra Wilkinson and Tracey Bell all my strong and lovely ability with boys (and that's alot); George Harris, all my love; Kathy Bradford, my size; Steve Mach, all my kisses; and every last one of the girls at Whittier, my good looks.

I, Kaye Hicks, will all the teachers at Whittier my strength for when my sister Janice comes here; to Audrey Allen, all the chocolate chips in Lincoln, so she can get darker (so no one gets her color mixed up).

I, Derrick Holder, will all the mashed potatoes in Whittier to Derrick Hull and all the ugly ladies to Foots.

We, Husky and Starch, being of decrepit minds and rickety bodies, hereby will our friendship to our sisters, so they can get along together; a little bit of common sense to our brothers; some pea ce to Mr. Thompson, 'cause our group will he gone; and to all of our buddies we will all our playing cards and the best of luck.

I, Susan Kuwamoto, of disturbed mind, will to Mr. Ortiz a Gilette razor for his legs, because he lent his razor to Michelle W. to shave her legs (which didn't need it, anyway). He was just jealous because her's weren't nubby like his.

I, Kit McMahan, being of some mind and body, leave to my sister, Kim, all the luck with Eric so people won't keep trying to take him away from her; to L.L. I leave my half of B.F.; and to N.D. I leave my seventh grade nickname. Reason: She walks worse than I do!!

I will P.L.

I, Lenette Nitz, hereby being of sound mind and red hair will to Wynona my ability on the violin, some 12" platform shoes to Mr. Ortiz so he will be taller than me; some of my ability to spell to my sister Barbara; and to Frances, Denise, Wynona, Benita, Robin, itc. my ability to keep my mouth shut once in awhile.

I, Dale Radebaugh, will 99 .99 percent of my trumpet playing ability to Ken Barton so that the next time he challenges he'll make first chair; and to Kelly Hanson I will the other .01 percent so that in her 9th grade year, when she makes first chair, she won't lose it to some guy. •

I, Teri Roti, will Diana Snell a million more gerbils, to Mr. Tapp my 10 year old brother so he (my brother) will learn the difference between a city and a state; and to the rest of the gang, good luck at Lincoln High.

I, Wynona Schnell, hereby will to Mr. Ortiz a yearly subscription to Tall Boy; (get the hint, Ortiz?); to Robin Hood, some married men; to Francas Monster, an extension cord; to Norman Petrous lots of luck with the ladies; and to Mr. Thompson another great year at Whittier; believe me, all of the above need it.

I, Bev Shuck, will all my money to Ortiz so he can buy a full life time supply of tacos; and for Mr. Tapp I will a full life time supply of tappioca pudding.
