for those students who enioi, competition. thes, have the chance to Join an intermural sports team. At Scott any lth or Ith grader is welcome to Join these teams. These groups work together every day after school a nd strive to develop better skills and become s tronger athletes.
As a 9th grader. you have the opportunity to trs, out for high school sports. This involves a hil!h level of competition with all of the surrounding area students. The foundation of these skills begins in P.E. class and is brought forth in precise detail on the hil!h school athletic team.
Scott Middle School would like to wish all of our featured stars good luck and would like to remind them to never forget where the basics were obtained.

As we walked the halls of Scott Mid dle School during the week of Nove mber 9th through November 13th. s,ou did not see the norm of what goes on during our typical middle schoo l das,.
This was the week we all knew as Spirit Week. the week where we are all full of enthusiasm. We bad days like . Wacky Das,. where we dressed in mis matched. clashed clothes and sho wed others a side of ourselves peopl e bad never seen.
This was also a was, for the student bods,. including faculty. to express themselves and show a side we are usually not exposed to at school. the other side!
Once al!ain Lincoln Public Schools students bad a chance to participate in Student Vote. Havinl! 9th l!rade l!overnment as a class. teachers tried to l!et tbe students involved. Tbe 9th l!rade Draco team bad a door decoratinl! contest and Mrs. advisee l!roup won. Student Vote is not iust fun. but actualls, helps politicians. It bas been observed over tbe past few s,ears and tbe candidates that win in tbe student vote. usualls, end up l!ettinl! elected. 0 1 think it went extremels, well. over 80% of students participated. and we built political interest.·· -Jan Rol!ers Student vote Coordinator
