On Monday, September 27 , at Park Middle School there were over 800 students and staff gathered in .the gym to see the first Nebraskan astronaut, Clay Anderson . He talked about life in space and how he became an astronaut. The students got to ask all sorts of questions . It was a very memorable experience for everyone. All the students leamed something they didn 't know before. Park hasn, had an all school assembly for 10 years. The students and staff will all remember this for a long time. They leamed things from what astronauts eat to ho go to the bathroom. Some students , after the a was talking about their own hopes to be astrona hopes to go to infinity and beyond.

Monday September 27th 9:30 A.M at Park Middle Seti in the gym , Clayton Anderson, First Nebraskan astronaut, decided to share his adventure with the many 800 some Panthers. Students asked Anderson questions about his joumey and space. As Anderson answered the estio he told stories. Only some of the 800 t ask him questions , the rest, along with aff enjoy the descriptive stories and We can all say we met the First ,tl'l• lf'1'Wl~·IPl() space. Park Middle Sch cited, and impressed on 9/ 27 stronaut Clay Anderson. With marvelous stori es, amazing and fantastic facts the Park Panthers ued the whole ride. Park students were on f their seats wanting and waiting for more. I ery student , includ ing me , left the presentation g to be an astronaut. Anderson told stories of flying , difficulties in space , and difficulties here on arth , that he , as an astronaut must face. Many Pa rk udents were given the privilege to ask Mr Anderson estions. For the first time in Park history the whole chool gathered for a guest speaker. All 800+ of the Pa r k Panthers were amazed with Anderson at 9:30 am on 9-27-10
