"Its a bigger school with more classes, people, teachers and more responsibilities. Getting around takes longer. Lockers and locker partners are very new and different. Meeting new friends and teachers. Having A and B days and switching classes periodically. We don't get so many extra days off of school. In gym you have to change into gym clothes and you also have gym lock~rs."

A: "The school didn't have a GSA club, and there was a need for one. We've fried it before. The 1st year there were 4 members, the 2nd year there was only 3 and now we have 18 members.

Seventh and eighth grade students participated in intramural sports. Competitions were played against other middle schools and were held every Saturday morning. Mr. Kassebaum was the coach of basketball, and volleyball for both boys and girls in 8th grade . Mr. Shepard coached flag football for 8th grade , 7th grade boys basktball, and 7th grade girls basketball. Ms. Knapp coached cross country. Coach Meyer , Genung, and Molly were the coaches for 7th grade girls volleyball. Mr. Everts coached 7th grade boys flag football.
