Mr. Carroll. Mrs. Ei ler, and Dr. Shuman provide the leadership for our school.
The admini trator at Park Middle School are direct and to the point. ·They don't get mad, they just are disappointed at the student when we make bad choices.
The administrators give us chances to do the right thing but they get annoyed when we come into their office time and time again for the same disciplinary reasons.
They help students out and try to protect us from any hurt, harm, or danger. They want our
chool to be a clean, learning environment and they encourag~ the teachers that they want students in class for learning purposes.
The administrators like to get involved in the students activities which is why we have some of the activities that we attend. They conduct our magazine and raising dough sales and they are the one that okay our activitie . They try to be involved to a certain point, then they just step back and let us have some fun.

Academics is the structure for education at Park · Middle School. It includes not only classes like math, government, and sciences but activities like student vote, the Spainsh class fiestas and the drama class.
From choir to algebra class we learn the basics of educati o,µ. All classes teach us the things we need to know later in our 1ife. So , pay attention to what your teachers tell you, because you will need it later on in your life.

The Day of the Dead is on November first and second. These two days are much like the United States Memorial Day. Sometimes this holiday is mistaken for Halloween because it has to do with skeletons and other things similar to this.
In some parts of Mexico the people go to the cemetery and take food and eat there. They also leave food on the graves for the spirits to . come and eat (usually food they liked when they were alive).
In other parts of the country they celebrate a special mass at the cemetery and stay there all day to pray for all their family relatives that have died so they can rest in peace.

Multiple Intelligences are the different ways in which people are smart. Here at Park Middle School we have four Multiple Intelligence classes for student . They include MI Civics with Mr. Bundy, M. I. English with Mrs. O'Meara , M. I. Math with Mrs. Jensen and a M. I. class with Mrs. Moock. There are eight different identified ways that people can learn. These eight include Math Logic, Linguistic, Spatial Intelligence, Bodily-Kinesthetic , Musical Different Ways of Learning:
Math Logic 2. Linguistic Intelligence
Spatial Intelligence
Bodily-Kinesthetic
Naturalist Intelligence
Intrapersonal Intelligence
Interpersonal Intelligence
Intelligence, Naturalist Intelligence, Intrapersonal Intelligence, and Interpersonal Intelligence. Last September, Park got a grant for $279,871.00 for over the period of 3 years for the Multiple Intelligence program. Mrs. Moock and Mrs. Young wrote the grant. This grant will help to buy software and computers that will help to enhance the learning of the students. It will also be given out to FCS classes all over the city of Lincoln. The students help each other out by using their strongest intelligence to help those who
are weaker in that area of intelligence. The students also do community work where they volunteer once a week. Some of the place where they volun •teer at are, the Malone Center, Saratoga Elementry, Everett Elementry , Lancaster Manor, Childrens Museum and The Humane Society. Mrs. Mooct want the kids to become motivatec and feel good about learning and alsc • find the school environment as a mor , positiv~ place. Also she says that we meaning everyone at Park Middl School, need to realize that everyom has different ways of learning and thai we need to expand our minds for others and their ways of learning.

The academics section does not only have plain ordinary classes like social studies and math, but has elective classes like art and publications. We have interviewed students and asked them the_g_uestion. "WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT OF '98?" It was very interesting to find out what the students said! Their answers were very creative, surprising, and interesting. The most popular . answer would have to be "starting a new year at Park Middle School!" Many students had many different answers.
