Another singing group is mixed chorus. This is one singing group you don't have to try out for. In mixed chorus you sing a lot of different songs, sometimes in different languages . Mixed chorus used sign language to sing a song called "Voices that Care,, for their first concert You can take mixed chorus for the whole year or just one semester.

Orchestra& Symphonic
Orchestra consists of 8th, and 9th graders that play any of the string instruments, the flute , clarinet , bass clarinet, oboe , bassoon , trench horn , trumpet, or percussion . Mr. Quick teaches this class. The Orchestra plays mostly classical music and symphonies. Symphonic Band members play the same instruments except they don ' t have any strings and Symphonic has the trombone Mr Quick also teaches this class

Stage Band is made up of only Ninth Graders It plays 1:xisically Jazz. Music, in fact that is what their shirts say is "Jaz,z Band ". The instruments used in Stage Band include : saxophone, trumpets , tromlxmes , drums, piano, guitar, cmd bass

Student Council organizes programs, dances, food drives , and other fund raisers. The students in Student Council represent all the students at Mickle . Student Council Meets every other Friday or Monday during 1st or 5th period. They discuss issues that effect the school and students.

The Varsity Volleyball team had a good season and according to Mrs Motz they definitely got better as the season went on Mrs . Motz said she would just love to play the teams that defeated them , because she thinks they could probably beat them

This was Mr O 'meara 's second year coaching the Reserves Volleyball team Mr O 'meara took the job of coaching this team because he likes volleyball and likes to work with kids Mr O 'meara sai.d , "When volleyball is played correctly it can be very exciting ."
