They finally made it to the top! And they never once thought to stop! They've gone through good, they've gone through bad, they've been happy and they've been sad. The memories will grow, but, they will never let them go. Now that they're older, The seventh and eighth graders can lean on their shoulders. Since some of the classes are harder, They're getting a lot smarter. Now they they're in ninth grade, They've got it made!!!

Seventh Grade
The Seventh graders have many new experiences. Junior high gave them more choices in their school life. They met new people, attended different classes, and were able to do more than in elementary school. It might have been a difficult year for some, but they got through it. Now, they can look back on their seventh grade year, and prepare for eighth grade.

Mister and Misses this year had 18 people in it, which is six more people than last year. When Mr. Bowling was picking people in M & M's, he looked for pitch, Rhythm, facial expression and personality. The music they sing is from today and yesterday. They performed over 40 concerts. Most of the choreography is done by Mr. Bowling. He said that his first full year teaching here at Mickle was very exhilarating.

The varsity team took third in city. Coach Motz • thought they Improved a lot through the season. "Persistenr would be one word to describe the team. Reserves took first In city this season . Coach Reeder felt they were strong In serving, and passing Both teams were very deq icated to playing volleyball.
Cross Country this season , did better than they 've done for several years. The team was larger than previously. Since there were more runners , the competition was more Intense. therefore It caused runners to work harder and longer.
Football had many members from Mickle this year Both heavyweights, and lightweights practiced at Northeast. Mr. Bulling and Mr. Druws were the coaches for the heavyweights. Mr. Carol and Mr. McDonald were the coaches for the lightweights.
Both teams did well this season. Th~ varsity team had trouble with turnovers , but they had a fast tempo game. The reserves, had a very good season and became city champs. Their strong points were rebounding and team spirit.
This Is Coach Borchers 's first year coaching Wrestling at Mickle. This years team had 12 members. Coach Borchers says the boys are good kids and work hard. He hopes they continue to wrestle In the future.
