Although we may not venture far from our lockers or the limits of Lincoln , Lefleri have great imaginations which take us beyond our four walls. Many would-be tr elers also come to see us. Hopefully with the photos, we won ' t have to worry ab. weather or packing a bag. Come with us and recall fond memories and accompli ments of 1994-95.
Bill Chaffin, inspirational speaker and basketball free throw shooter, visi Lefler early in September for a ninth grade assembly in the gym. The crowd roa and chanted as Justin Gill tried his best to out shoot Mr. Chaffin. Picture time in October resulted in sweaty, shiny faces due to the tropical weat i Lasting summer tans made excellent yearbook pictures.
Colder weather helped us travel through our international studies of scie, physical education, math, English, and social studies. Hearing about the com1 tion, homework, diversity, and ourselves resulted in stress and pride.
As No v ember first came along, the students of Lefler prepared to vote. Bre Thompson , commissioner of Lefier's Student Vote '94, and Rory Kay, assistant c missioner, made sure the other eighteen workers were ready for the big day.
In February, as cold weather rolled around, carnations and candy were sold delivered to students' Valentine's by Student Council members. It warmed our he as well as our body temperatures as we left school that day. •
As the days steadily became warmer and warmer, we were all a nxious to hear 2:50 bell ring for the last time this school year. For the ninth graders, it was the time they would hear that b e ll ring in these Lefler halls.
We're all glad we travel ed this road to g ether. and shared marvelous experie along the way.
The pr i vacy of the voting booth allowe d Leflerites to cast their ballot in Student Vote '94.

Sean Keelan and Brenna Thompson were selected the Elk ' s Student Award winners for 1994-1995. Ea received a $100 savings bond and certificate.

As the ninth graders experience their last days here at Lefler, they clean out their lockers, gather up their belongings, and reflect on their memories.
Miniature golf and roller skating entertained us our seventh grade year, an antique train took us between Fremont and Hooper our eighth grade year, and our ni nth grade year outshined it all
Throughout the ' 94 -' 95 school year, 93 stud ent s achieved a 3.5 or higher average and were aw a rded with a certificate and a ceremonial brea kfast. Ninth graders participated in Student Vot e , tried out for high school sports, and were involved in many drama performances. They were also introduced to the new Associate Principal, Mr. Deibler, and the new ninth grade counselor, Mrs. Benner. As anxious ninth graders anticipate the summer and their high sch o ol year, they enjoy the remaining days with a last dance and a picnic, combined with a fun day of activities.
"I thouldn 't of thuck my thounge to that thupid pole!"
"Ey mon, it's bobs l eddin' time!"
Now that 9th grade is over, and we all walk away, the memories remain of those fun-filled days
Everyone was so happy, so perfect together. Could you forget , or will you always remember? This school year was special , everyo n e will say is true. How it was lost, no on e has a clue. The day we all separate and say good-bye numerous tears will fa l l from each person's e ye . Beware of what is to come, • but do not look behind , because once were through the past , the future is left to find.

The sands of time flew by for the eighth grade. They slithered across town to the Folsom Children's Zoo to see the new bat exhibit. After a quick stop at the zoo they crawled to a picnic to get better acquainted with others. Their fall unit included learning about the American Revolution by reading Johnny Tremain. They made early American crafts and ended this unit by enjoying a cup of English tea.
The winter months in the desert were devoted to learning about slavery and Freedom Fighters. The Underground Railroad simulation was the climax oft e unit, followed by the sampl ing of ethnic foods.
The imm igration unit created a sandstorm of confusion for students when they attempted to pass through Ellis Island. America's different cultures were researched and experienced throughout the unit.
After t h eir voyage through the desert our eighth graders will be waiting to ta ke their spot on the top of the pyramid.

Small yachts from several faraway shores delivered new people (labeled 7th grad e to the Lefler crui se in Sept. Together these travelers experienced skating part ie exploratory classes, the Environmental Fair, Greek Olympics and the archeology d in the "beaches " of Lefler. Old bones and extinct sea horses were unearthed. Cap t ' Hook (officer D ennis Scott) helped shove off on the brand new G.R.E.A. T prog ra offered in the Lincoln schools this y ear. Ship shape T-shirts and certificates were 1 , sented at the February ceremony. Our All American Heritage was celebrated in A p through Diversity Week. Speake rs and food sampling helped us appreciate the m , "islands" from whe re we come . The drawbridge is lowered and we all must board ti same sh i p to set s a il for 8th gra de. Bon Voyage!

**Student Council soared to new heights of caring and concern for our Leflerites. They christened the '94-'95 year with the annual seventh grade party which corraled the new students in a get acquainted ho-down. As the festive party mood continued, a special guest tried to teach karaoke to the many after school participants.
Small wide-eyed children of faculty members thoroughly enjoyed the games, pizza, and Santa at the annual holiday party. Sweethearts and good friends were remembered on Valentine's Day due to the carnation sales of Student Council.
Everyone looked forward to and purc hased the World's Finest Chocolate to raise money for prizes and events at the Spring Carnival. All students enjoyed the talent and fortitude of budding artists at the March Talent Show.
Due to hard working and dedicated members, Student Council again flew l through a goo d year.
