From six elementary schools, we e nt e red Lefler and were overwhelmed with large classes, all new faces, pink lockers and being lost forever! We thought we could never fit into the Lefler puzzle. Dances, Student Council, musical performances and solid friendships comfortably helped us adjust into the maze of 8th grade. Challenging classes, artistic, academic and athletic opportunities and leadership roles played a major part in our final year. Now again we part, only to attempt the high school puzzle. We are better prepared to face the dilemma this time.

Lefler's newest students entered with puzzled faces. Soon, they had found their lockers and classrooms As the year progressed, they found Lefler easier to hunt through. A combination of dances, parties , Student Council, intramural sports, and other act ivities left them totally perplexed Having to choose from the buffet of exploratory classes, such as, art, music, and industrial arts , only added to the confusion. The difficulties became easier, and the path became brighter as they prepared to leap into their middle year.

The Walsworth computer program baffled the new staffs, but soon printers whizzed copy at deadline time. Throughout the year they all worked hard to successfully publish not only the '92 yearbook, but the Literary magazine.
