Counseling As well as resources made available through the Guidance Office, we have a dedicated middle school counselor to provide the age-appropriate support and programming to assist students in navigating their studies, address issues related to mental health/wellness, and any other personal, social or academic challenges they may face.
“I love working with boys and helping them identify their strengths (and quirks) so that they can work to overcome obstacles that impede their success. I meet with every student and provide a safe place to turn if anything is impacting their learning. Whether he is overwhelmed, anxious, scared, or sad, I’ll be there for your son.
- Susan Buswell Middle School Guidance Counselor
“What I love about our middle school is that our boys receive an incredible academic experience while they also explore their faith through our retreat programs, work together to serve their community, and have access to an extraordinary array of co-curricular actives on a campus that provides them plenty of room to grow.”
- John O’Hara Middle School Assistant Principal
Class Size Our class sizes in grades 6 -8 are smaller by design. This provides a tailored approach to learning, as well as age-appropriate formational opportunities. One of the most distinguished characteristics of our middle school program is our faculty who are dedicated to applying learning strategies that work best for boys. Their passion and energy is one of the many reasons why Loyola’s middle school is the ideal setting for academic, social, and spiritual growth.
