ENVIRONMENTAL LAW
“I am a travel junkie, and I knew that I would be living overseas at some point during my career. I pursued the International Legal Studies Certificate because I wanted to expand my understanding of different legal systems and traditions beyond the Louisiana and federal systems so that when I am faced with an international legal problem, I can immediately immerse myself into the substance of the issue rather than having to learn a new paradigm of legal thinking and procedure.”
TAX LAW
“Southern Louisiana is one of the richest environmental laboratories in the world. We’ve got the most productive wetlands in the country, unforgettable wildlife, and the serious challenges that come with industrialism and human development. Whether you are interested in coastal restoration, fisheries, or environmental justice and urban planning, we are studying it at Loyola College of Law. ”
INTL. LEGAL STUDIES
The certificate programs at the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law offer a challenging course of study, spur collaboration with students and professors with similar interests, and help to distinguish graduates in the job market. Our programs also leave room for students to take other important courses.

“Preparing taxes allowed me to engage a cross-section of community members on a deeply personal level. Taxes, which can be stressful and personal, are inevitability for everyone. By providing this valuable service to the community, we as volunteers developed client relation skills and learned how to tailor our service to individuals of all walks of life.”
