Q-VO Magazine, 1979. First edition. 48 pages. The premier issue of this important magazine for Chicano’s. The title means ‘Whats Happening’, and the magazine’s intention was to bring the latest and current La Raza news. This issue includes, much on low riding, boulevard cruising, disco, interviews with Castillo, and Gary Cervantes, and Gypsy Rose! Some would say that this was the Southern California literary response to Lowrider Magazine.
