Crimson Creed
Lowndes High School believes in the Crimson Creed and that all students Show Character, Respect, Excellence, Empathy and Diligence. The faculty and staff are dedicated to teaching and modeling these principles to ingrain these behaviors in our students and school culture. The matrix below outlines the behavior expectations for students in all areas of Lowndes High School.

Health and Safety
· Follow all school guidelines for the health and safety of yourself and others when you enter the campus or school transportation. · Follow teacher/school staff directions during a crisis or when participating in an emergency drill · Attend all required online meetings and complete required work · Demonstrate appropriate school dress code in online meetings · Support your classmates – listen to the opinions of others during online discussions
· Maintain social distancing · Wear a mask when required · Stay home if: o You have a fever o Are experiencing flu-like symptoms (cough, fever, congestion, etc.) · Take your turn when responding during online discussions – don’t interrupt the teacher or other students · Make respectful comments and maintain respectful facial expressions during online discussions – use appropriate language
· Follow health guidelines for your safety and others: o Wear a mask when required o Maintain social distancing o Wash your hands frequently for a minimum of 20 seconds · Login to all online sessions on time and complete required assignments · Demonstrate academic success by participating in online discussions, completing classwork and holding yourself to a high academic standard during independent learning
· Respect the personal space of others and their feelings about personal health and wellness · Report any conditions or behaviors that may risk the health and welfare of others to appropriate school personnel · Listen to the opinions and comments of students in the class – support your classmates · Assist others in the class using appropriate resources and communication methods
Distance Learning
· Monitor your symptoms – report to appropriate health staff when you are feeling sick. · Use hand sanitizer and/or wash hands frequently · Complete all required work independently with appropriate resources · Be active in online discussions · Take initiative and communicate with your teacher via email or google classroom when you have questions or need assistance or additional support
