The LPPC Weekly for April 26, 2026

This Week’s 3 Things to Know

Preventing and Overcoming Burnout

Overwhelmed? Emotionally exhausted? Or sensing you need changes to prevent this? May is Mental Health Awareness Month and God’s love and grace extend to our whole selves, so let’s talk about overcoming and preventing burnout. This workshop will take place on Sunday, May 3 at 11:00am in Williams Hall and will be facilitated by Nancy Care. We’ll touch on topics like evaluating boundaries and priorities, practicing self-care, and creating healthy habits of mind and body.

Pet Rescue: A Family VBS

This summer’s family Vacation Bible School will take place June 22-25 from 6:30-8:00pm (optional dinner from 6:00-6:30). Our program is designed for kids in Prek-5th grade and their parents/caregivers. It’s a memorable week of fun and faith-building experiences for the whole family. Don’t miss finding out how God’s love makes a dif-fur-ence. Sign up through the link in your weekly email. Want to help out with VBS? Many hands make light work! Just email MaryAnn Alderfer.

Sacred Trails

Psalm 119:105, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Sacred Trails are back as we look to the Psalms to be our lamp and for God’s creation to light the path for our lives. Sacred Trails will be the first Tuesday of every month (May-Oct) beginning at 8am at various trails throughout our community. We will read an excerpt from Psalms and then enjoy God’s creation by either walking or jogging on the trail for the day. The walk/jog is a distance of your choice from 2-3 miles. If you plan to participate, sign up through the link in your weekly email or by emailing Pastor Ted. Directions will be emailed out each week for the location of the sacred trail.
