Merciful Lord, we come to your table aware of our sin and our need. We are quick to judge and slow to love. We overlook our own sin while noticing the faults of others. We forget how deeply we depend on your mercy. Forgive us for our pride and our hardened hearts. Help us receive your forgiveness and respond with grateful, humble love. In your name we pray, Amen.
