THE APOSTLES’ CREED I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Serving Our Neighbors: The Norristown Hospitality Center Our September Serving Partner For over three decades, the Norristown Hospitality Center has offered "Care, Comfort, and Compassion" to men, women, and children experiencing homelessness and poverty in our area. As the only day place of its kind in downtown Norristown, the Center has welcomed anyone who walked through the door, offering breakfast, showers, phone and mail access, counseling, and connections to housing, healthcare, legal aid, and other essential services. On an average day, the Center served around 120 individuals. A New Chapter, A New Location This year the Hospitality Center faced several setbacks. They had to move out of their location downtown, and zoning laws created challenges as they looked for a new location. Thankfully, they have now relocated to 449 E. Lafayette St., where they are currently renovating the space to meet their needs. Because of their move, they are not accepting physical donations. The only services being offered at this time are mail pickup and case management. How the Center Serves Beyond daily basic needs, the Center connects guests to workforce development, case management, legal aid, ID replacement clinics, and a mobile recovery clinic for those battling addiction. It also partners with local churches and organizations, like Lower Providence Presbyterian Church, to bring needed assistance to those they serve. How You Can Help The Center is currently in a transitional season and not actively onboarding new volunteers, but You can still: • Give financially at hospitalitycenter.org/donate • Designate a gift through United Way (Southeastern PA #06283 or Tri-State #036-649) • Participate in the upcoming “Sole Harvest” run/walk on October 3rd. Let's keep this vital ministry, and our neighbors it serves, in our prayers as they settle into their new home.
