ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Timothy Clinton, Ed.D, LPC, LMFT, an internationally recognized leader in Christian counseling today, is president of the nearly 50,000-member American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), the largest and most diverse Christian counseling organization in the world. A licensed professional counselor and marriage and family therapist, he is the Executive Director of the Center for Counseling and Family Studies at Liberty University and is Professor of Counseling and Pastoral Care. Tim and his wife Julie live in Forest, Virginia with their two children—Megan and Zach. Tim has authored more than 150 articles and numerous books including Why You Do the ings You Do: e Secret to Healthy Relationships; Loving Your Child Too Much: How to Stay Close without Overindulging, Overprotecting, or Overcontrolling; and Turn Your Life Around: Breaking Free om Your Past to a New and Be er You. He is also executive editor of the newly released Bible of Hope.

Patrick Springle, M.A. in Counseling, is president of Baxter Press. Pat has been a leading writer and conference trainer in support group ministries, having authored such materials as Untangling Relationships and Conquering Codependency. Previously Pat served on the sta of Campus Crusade for Christ as the Texas state director and as vice president of Rapha Treatment Centers, a hospital-based Christian counseling program. Baxter Press works with Christian organizations to publish materials for their constituents. Pat and his wife Joyce live in Friendswood, Texas. Both of their children, Catherine and Taylor, are married, and each couple has a daughter.
