Roller Blinds Blockout, Screen or Light Filtering
5
The most popular way to furnish windows and sliding doors. With modern clean lines, roller blinds offer a minimalistic look while assisting with insulation, day time privacy and keeping the home dark at night.
Why Roller Blinds?
Advantages
Considerations
Cost-Effective
Light Bleed and Light Gaps
Roller blinds are a cost-effective window treatment option, making them an economical choice for various spaces.
Depending on the fixing type and roll direction, roller blinds may have light bleed, especially with front roll configurations, leading to significant light gaps.
Space-Efficient When lifted, roller blinds take up minimal space, providing an unobstructed view and a clean, streamlined appearance. Cost-Effective Motorization Motorizing roller blinds is more affordable compared to other window treatment options, offering convenient automation without a hefty price tag.
For linked roller blinds, there can be gaps between individual blinds, affecting privacy and light control. Chain Maintenance Over time or with incorrect use, chains used for roller blinds may break and need to be replaced. Weight Challenges of Linked Blinds
Easy Maintenance
The weight of linked blinds can pose challenges for smooth operation, and care must be taken to ensure proper functionality.
Roller blinds are easy to clean and maintain, requiring simple dusting or occasional spot cleaning to keep them looking fresh.
Secure Fixing Points
Versatile Installation With their small profile, roller blinds can be installed into a reveal or on the face of a window, offering flexibility in design and installation options. Maximized Natural Light When raised, roller blinds allow maximum natural light to enter the space, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. Light, Heat & UV Control Screen roller fabrics reduce glare, help regulate indoor temperatures by limiting solar heat gain, and provide excellent UV protection to help safeguard floors and furniture.
Proper installation with secure fixing points is crucial for the stable and reliable operation of roller blinds, as they are only attached to the face of the architrave or within the reveal. Long Chain on High Windows For high windows, a long chain running down the wall may not be aesthetically pleasing. Limitations around Bay & Corner Windows Roller blinds may face difficulties in achieving a seamless fit around corner or bay windows and are not ideal in this instance.
Daytime Privacy Without Losing Light Enjoy privacy during the day while still allowing natural light to filter through, keeping rooms bright, comfortable, and visually connected to the outdoors.

Child Safety Devices
As a standard, all roller blinds are chain operated with a metal ball chain. All chain positions will be at Lovelight’s discretion.
There are two roller systems available with different bracket sizes. Selection is dependant on the size of your window.
Base Bars
On larger blinds Lovelight will automatically increase bracket and tube sizes.
Child safety devices are required by law to be installed on all roller blind chains hanging below 1600mm from the floor. Chains above 1600mm are exempt. The chain must not form a loop exceeding 220mm in circumference. Lovelight will install the child safety device in the most secure position.
All roller blind base bars as standard are oval shaped. They are available in anodised aluminium, black , white and in some cases fabric wrapped.
Bracket & Mechanism Colour Roller blinds with black fabric are supplied with black brackets and mechanisms. All other blinds are supplied with white brackets and mechanisms.
7
Please note that if the bracket size changes Lovelight will match any adjacent blinds on the same window elevation in the same room.
Tube Sizes 38mm tube for blinds 300mm - 1979mm wide 38mm heavy duty tube for blinds 1980mm - 2410mm wide 45mm tube for blinds on highlight windows wider than 2410mm
Motorisation There is an upgrade option for a Wirefree battery motorised blind. No electrician is required for installation. One remote will be provided per room and one charging cable will be provided for up to 5 blinds. If more than 5 motorised roller blinds, a second charger will be provided. Batteries last approximately 9-12 months in between charges.

Minimum/Maximum Widths
Linking Blinds Together
Corner Windows
Minimum roller blind width – 300mm
Blinds can be linked together. This is typically done when multiple blinds are required for larger window applications, allowing them to operate together as one. Please speak to your consultant for further information.
On corner windows, all blinds will automatically be front rolled to reduce the light gap as much as possible. Please be aware that the light gap will still be larger for face fit blinds. All other blinds in the room will be front rolled to match.
Please be aware that light gaps will be present at each link. We will link in certain situations as per page 10.
In instances of butt & through corner windows, the through blind will be the one facing the street. When not facing the street, the larger blind will be the through blind.
Maximum roller blind width –2410mm
Minimum/Maximum Drops Minimum roller blind drop – 300mm Maximum roller blind drop – 2700mm
Highlight Windows Roller blinds wider than 2410mm are only available on highlight windows with a maximum drop of 500mm. Longer drops will not be warranted by Lovelight due to potential sagging of fabric and general performance issues. 500mm drop
2700mm wide highlight window
Front/Back Rolling Roller blinds can be front or back rolled, this must be specified on the quote. A.
Front rolled blinds are a good choice to avoid the blind interfering with obstructions.
B.
Back rolled blinds are better suited to achieve maximum privacy and light blocking.
Light & Cloth Gaps All roller blinds have visible light gaps around the sides of the fabric, even when blockout fabric is used. This is because the overall width of the blind including its brackets is always wider than the fabric width. Gap measurements are: — Side gaps up to 30mm per side — Gap between linked blinds is up to 30mm Blind Width Fabric Width
Diagram showing corner window with through blind (left) & butt blind (right).
Things to Consider — Colour variations may occur between fabric production batches. These variances are within industry tolerances. — When windows are open, window furnishings should be in the open position to avoid stretching and distortion of the fabrics. — As the sizes of blinds increase, there may be sagging or 'V-ing' in the fabric. This is not unexpected with larger blinds, and warranty claims will not be accepted.

Single Roller Blinds Specifications
Single Roller Rolling Direction Industry standard rolling direction of single roller blinds is back rolled. Blinds may need to be front rolled if there is an obstruction. This is determined at site measure at Lovelight’s discretion.

Curtains S-Fold & Pencil Pleat Headings in Blockout & Sheer Fabrics
13
Sheer curtains will offer softness and privacy whilst blockout curtains can help create a relaxing dark bedroom or real cinematic experience right in your home!
Why Curtains?
Advantages
Considerations
Soft Daylight with Added Privacy
Space
Sheer fabrics let natural light filter through while still providing a gentle level of daytime privacy.
Curtains, especially when open, can take up a significant portion of the opening, potentially obstructing the view and natural light.
Reduced UV Exposure Indoors
Curtains require wall space for installation, limiting the placement of furniture and other decor elements.
Sheers help minimise UV rays entering the room, offering added protection for furniture and flooring.
Double curtains, in particular, may billow into the room, requiring additional attention to ensure a neat appearance.
Comfortable, Low‑Glare Environment
Light Bleed
The diffused light from sheers helps reduce glare, making living areas more comfortable for reading, relaxing, or TV watching.
Curtains may allow some light to bleed through, with ceiling fit or pelmet installations providing better light control.
Layered Flexibility for Light Control
Higher Cost
Pairing sheers with a blockout layer gives you adaptable control over both privacy and brightness throughout the day.
Curtains, especially customized and high-quality ones, are more expensive than roller blinds.
Height-Enhancing Visual Impact Hanging curtains higher elongates the wall line, making rooms feel more spacious, airy, and elegant. Complete Darkness When Needed Blockout fabrics provide full light reduction, ideal for bedrooms, media rooms, or anyone who prefers a darker environment. Luxurious, Hotel‑Style Ambience The rich, heavy drape of blockout curtains adds a premium, opulent feel to any room. Improved Thermal & Acoustic Insulation Blockout curtains help regulate temperature and reduce outside noise, enhancing overall comfort. Energy-Efficient Temperature Control By helping rooms stay cooler in summer and warmer in winter, blockout curtains can support energy savings over time.

S-Fold Heading
The S-fold curtain heading style creates wide, even folds resembling an 'S' shape, offering a modern and clean aesthetic. It enhances light flow into the room and stacks compactly when opened. With no discernible back, it maintains the same appearance from both sides of the window, while holding its shape well. Projection into the room for an S-fold is 120mm. Pencil Pleat The Pencil Pleat heading has tightly gathered folds of fabric that create pencil style pleats in the top of the curtain. This heading appeals to a more traditional style that is casual and unstructured. Projection into the room for pencil pleat is 100mm.
Fabric Options Lead Weighted Hem
Sheer
Non-Decorative (Square Profile) Track
Sheer fabrics are great for letting in natural light while still providing privacy. They offer a soft, delicate look and are often used in combination with other curtain types to create layered window treatments. Blockout
Pencil Pleat Heading
Blockout fabrics are commonly used in bedrooms, nurseries, and home theatres where light control is important for sleep, privacy, or viewing experiences. Blockouts are manufactured as either — With lining (a separate blockout lining fabric is sewn into the curtain) — Self coated (Coating is applied to the back of the fabric. Please note, there will likely be visible stitch lines that may allow pin holes of light through.)
Track Options Non Decorative — Suitable for S-fold and pencil pleat — Ceiling and face fit — Squared profile with end caps Folded Hem
Decorative — Suitable for S-fold only — Face fit only — 28mm round profile with end caps

Hems Sheer fabrics may have either a lead weighted hem or a turned hem depending on the range selected. On blockout fabrics that are self-coated (white backing), the hem will be double turned, meaning the face colour of the fabric will be visible at the hemline when viewed from outside the home.
Minimum Width/Maximum Drop Minimum width — 300mm Maximum drop — 2700mm due to fabric restrictions.
Curtain Width Options
Curtains & Pelmets
We have the following curtain width options:
If a pelmet accompanies the curtain, the curtain will be brought down to reside within the pelmet. The curtain track will be standard width (window width + 200mm).
Standard Curtain will be manufactured to sit 100mm past each vertical architrave.
Where a blockout fabric has a separate lining, both the blockout and the lining have a single turned hem.
Wall to Wall When the curtain is installed over the full width of the wall from corner to corner.*
Lead weighted hem
Side Stack This is the space a curtain occupies on the left or right side of your window when it is open. As a rule, assume the side stack is equal to a third of the curtain width.
This will be priced as per the width of the wall, not the width of the window.
Track Installation Options
Curtain Drop All curtains will sit approximately 10mm off the floor. Fabrics can be affected by atmospheric conditions and some movement is acceptable. The industry standard is 3% movement up or down.

Shutters Timber, Waterproof and PVC
19
Shutters represent the ultimate in style and function by enhancing the aesthetics of a room with light control, while still offering privacy. Facade windows are the most popular application for shutters to be installed.
Why Shutters?
Advantages
Considerations
Easy Maintenance
Light Bleed Between Blades
Shutters are easy to clean, simplifying maintenance and ensuring a neat appearance.
Light bleed can occur between the blades of shutters, making them not completely blockout. However, they still provide better light control compared to some other window furnishings.
Shape Versatility Adaptable and custom-made, shutters can be crafted into various shapes, offering versatility and the ability to complement windows of different configurations.
Not Suitable for Doors Shutters are not a suitable option for doors, given their design and operational characteristics.
Simple Operation
Higher Cost
Shutters are very user-friendly, allowing for easy adjustment of light and privacy levels.
Shutters are generally more expensive compared to some other window furnishings, reflecting their high-quality materials, versatility, and customization. Shutters are custom-made to suit each window.
Dual Functionality Shutters offer dual functionality, serving as both sheer and block-out elements in one, providing flexibility in light control. Effortless Privacy Solution Shutters provide excellent privacy control, featuring a split tilt operation that allows for independent adjustment of the upper and lower sections. Strength and Durability Shutters are made from strong and durable materials, making them a long-lasting window treatment solution.
Fly Screens and Hardware It's essential to be conscious of existing fly screens and window hardware to ensure compatibility and a seamless installation experience. Industry Guideline for Plantation Shutters It is usual for slight dropping or sagging to occur to the panels when operated out of their closed position. Heavier shutter panels may need to be lifted back in to their frame. This not a fault but is inherent to the product.
Insulation Shutters provide effective insulation, contributing to temperature control and energy efficiency in the home. Bay Windows and Corners Shutters are excellent for bay windows and corners, offering a seamless and visually appealing solution for unique window configurations. Waterproof Shutters can be ordered in waterproof materials that are suitable for use in bathrooms, providing privacy and moisture resistance.

Panel Operation
Louvre Operation
To fit shutters within a window reveal, we require 70mm internal clearance. The shutter blades will still protrude into the room when in the open position. Please take note of any window winders or obstructions that may impede the shutter.
Shutter panels installed to a window will be hinged and can be opened.
PVC shutters operate via an external tilt rod while all other shutter ranges operate via the invisible Easy Tilt gear driven system. Blades are connected by an internal link hidden in the side stiles of each shutter panel.
Flyscreens When selecting the mounting position with your sales consultant: Please consider if flyscreens will be added to the window in the future, as there may not be enough space if reveal mount is selected.
Doors and Sliding Shutters Lovelight do not install shutters to doors, either hinged or sliding. Lovelight also do not provide sliding shutter configurations.
Shutters installed to a wall cut out will be fixed in place. Once a panel exceeds 1350mm, a shutter panel will have split operation . This is where the top section of louvres operate independently from the bottom section. The standard split operation is 50/50.
Face Fit/Reveal Fit Shutters can be installed on the face or within the reveal. When face fitted, shutters will automatically have an additional 140mm added to their width and drop to cover the architraves. This may affect the quantity of panels. Image demonstrating a 50/50 split where the top half can be opened independently from the bottom.

Roman Blinds Blockout & Light Filtering Fabrics
23
With its desired pelmet look in an opened position, this homely window furnishing adds a beautiful, neat and decorative finish to any room. Suitable for bedrooms right through to living and dining areas. Romans are a great option to pair with screen roller blinds, for day and night time privacy.
Why Roman Blinds?
Advantages
Considerations
Coordination with Curtain Furnishings
Light Bleed and Pin Holes
Roman blinds can be coordinated with curtain fabrics, creating a cohesive look throughout a space.
Roman blinds may experience light bleed on the sides due to the head rail, which can be a consideration for those seeking a complete blockout. Due to the stitching of roman blinds, it is common that pin holes may be present.
Bay Window Compatibility Roman blinds can be effectively used in bay windows, providing an elegant and functional window furnishing solution. Blockout Performance Roman blinds offer better block-out capabilities than roller blinds, as the fabric covers the brackets, unlike a roller blind. Neat Aesthetics Roman blinds look neater than roller blinds as brackets are not visible, contributing to a clean and minimalist aesthetic. The head rail also acts as a pelmet for the roman blind. Gathered Romans Gathered romans add a soft, decorative focal point for a room. They create a more elegant look than other styles of romans.
Reveal Fit Roman blinds are not suitable to be installed in the reveal due to accessibility issues with the chain, resulting in a loss of around 250mm of window space and natural light. Fabrics can also drop with atmospheric changes, meaning they will sit on the window sill if reveal fitted. Consideration for Bay Window Installation The recommended installation will be 150mm above the architrave/window. Gathered Romans Gathered Roman blinds are designed to look most attractive when they are raised, as this is when the natural centre scoop and soft draping are fully visible. When lowered, the fabric can appear flatter and less decorative, so they’re best suited to windows where the blind will spend a lot of time pulled up to showcase the curvature.

Panel Spacing & Line Up
On the same elevation, romans will be installed at the same height unless the height difference between the windows/sliding doors is greater than 200mm.
Maximum roman blind drop – 3000mm
Operation All roman blinds are fitted with manual, continuous metal ball chain. All chain positions will be at Lovelight's discretion. Chain lengths will be 2/3 of the length of the roman's drop.
Light Pin Holes All roman blinds will have pin holes of light showing through the blinds wherever stitching occurs (batten pockets, side hems, and base pockets).
Panel spacing will vary according to the drop of your roman blind. These will be automatically calculated by the team at Lovelight. If you have more than one roman blind in a room with varying drops, Lovelight will automatically line up the spacing for you. This may result in your bottom panels being different sizes to each other.
Stack Height The stack height is usually between 250 – 330mm, or the height of the first fold on your roman blind.
Roman blinds will be installed:
Child Safety Devices Child safety devices are required by law to be installed on all roman blind chains hanging below 1600mm from the floor. Chains above 1600mm are exempt. The chain must not form a loop exceeding 220mm in circumference. Lovelight will install the child safety device in the most secure position.

Venetian Blinds Aluminium and Fauxwood
27
Venetian blinds are one of the world’s most popular window furnishings. Enjoy the ease of filtering light into a room while maintaining the rooms privacy. Venetian blinds are also aesthetically pleasing from the inside and outside of the home.
Why Venetian Blinds?
Aluminium Venetians Advantages
Considerations
Commercial Appeal
Limited Blockout Capabilities
Aluminium venetians have a sleek and modern appearance, making them more appropriate for office settings.
Aluminium venetians are not 100% blockout, light gaps can occur between the blades and through ladder string holes.
Compact Profile for Tight Reveals
Vulnerability to Damage
With their small profile, aluminium venetians can fit into tight reveals.
The thin nature of aluminium venetians makes them susceptible to bending and kinking, requiring gentle handling to prevent damage.
Light Control and Privacy Similar to shutters, a single aluminium venetian blind offers effective control over both light and privacy. Versatile Use in Different Spaces
Dust Accumulation and Cleaning Needs Aluminium venetians can gather dust and require regular cleaning to maintain their appearance and functionality
Aluminium venetians might be a good fit for laundry areas where sleek and functional window furnishing is preferred. Small Stack Size Aluminium venetians have a small stack size when raised, minimizing the visual impact on the window when open.
Fauxwood Venetians Advantages
Considerations
Versatile Appeal
Avoid Frequent Lifting
Fauxwood venetians share a modern appearance similar to aluminium, offering a stylish option for those who prefer the look of venetian blinds. Fauxwood venetians have a more homey feel to them and are more commonly seen in residential spaces.
Due to their weight, venetians are not designed for frequent lifting and should be handled carefully. The blind should only be lifted for cleaning purposes, however the slats can be tilted and adjusted frequently.
Compact Profile for Tight Reveals With their small profile, Fauxwood venetians can fit into tight reveals, provided that window or door hardware does not obstruct the installation. Light Control and Privacy Similar to shutters, a single Fauxwood venetian blind offers effective control over both light and privacy.

Venetian blinds can be heavy to lift. This is standard and there are no options to assist with the weight. Ideally, this blind should be selected for a window where you most commonly will tilt the blades to control light, and only require lifting infrequently (eg. routine cleaning).

Pelmets Upholstered Fabric
33
Pelmets are the ideal addition to insulate windows & sliding doors. Pelmets can be used decoratively, to frame your windows/sliding doors and cover furnishing fixtures such as curtain tracks and blind mechanisms.
Why Pelmets?
Advantages
Considerations
Concealing Hardware
Pelmet Projection
Pelmets serve as an excellent way to hide the hardware of blinds or curtains, creating a polished and finished look for the window furnishings.
Pelmets sit over window furnishings, depending on the quantity of window furnishings, the projection can impact the aesthetic of the room.
Enhanced Blockout Performance Pelmets contribute to better blockout performance for various window furnishings by closing the light gap at the top, preventing unwanted light from entering the room. Coordination with Curtain Fabric Pelmets can be designed to match the fabric of curtains, creating a cohesive and harmonious appearance in the room. Traditional Appeal Pelmets have a traditional style, making them well-suited for older houses and spaces with a more classic or vintage aesthetic.

Installation
Minimum pelmet width — 300mm
Depending on the width of the pelmet and the fabric you select, vertical fabric joins may be present. If vertical joins are required, we will manufacture your pelmet with two joins spaced apart, rather than one central join.
Pelmets will be installed 50mm above the architrave. Pelmets will be installed 25mm beyond the outside edges of the architraves.
Maximum pelmet width — 3900mm
Pelmet Height Pelmet height — 200mm.
Fabrics
Pelmet Projections
Soft pelmets are manufactured from our Lovelight blockout curtain fabrics.
Pelmet projections are determined by the amount of furnishings being installed to the window or sliding door:
Returns
— Without furnishing/or blind installed into recess: 75mm
All pelmets are supplied with returns as standard, when required.
If a pelmet accompanies a curtain, the curtain will be brought down to reside within the pelmet that will be installed 50mm above the architrave. The pelmet will then be 50mm wider than the overall width of the curtain. The overall width of the curtain equals window width + 200mm (standard width).
— With 1 × furnishing installed within the pelmet: 100mm — With 2 × furnishings installed within the pelmet: 200mm 34
Standard Installation Position All Furnishings
Standard installation positions will be as per the table below, unless noted otherwise on your quote. Some builders have specific installation positions due to the type of windows they supply. As a result, your furnishings may be reveal or face fitted at Lovelight's discretion at the time of site check measure. Please note: Window furnishings installed in the reveal of the window may restrict install and/or removal of flyscreens.

Window Furnishings will not be installed in these locations
Within shower cubicles
Kitchen low light windows
Void windows
Lovelight will not install window furnishings inside shower cubicles due to significant water & moisture damage to the fabrics and materials.
Lovelight will not install window furnishings to a low light window above a cook-top. This is due to the stove being a fire hazard.
If a window furnishing is required to a void window, the builder must supply access equipment (such as scaffolding) for the check measure and the installation of the products. Where roller blinds are specified, please ensure that the drop of the window doesn’t exceed our maximum height restriction of 2700mm.
It is also a Lovelight recommendation that window furnishings are not installed above a sink due to the potential that water may damage the fabric of the blinds.
Entry side light windows
Onto Hinged Doors
Lovelight will not install any product to entry side light windows where the window is narrower than 300mm. Window furnishings manufactured this small often do not function well.
Lovelight will not install window furnishings onto hinged doors due to the projections of the furnishings.
If the sidelight is over 300mm wide, it will be subject to check measure.
Most furnishings will protrude further than the door stopper and the furnishings will damage the plaster once opened. If installed onto hinge doors it will void the warranty.
Any stair window that is unsafe to install Lovelight will only install window furnishings to windows located on a staircase where there is a flat landing directly beneath the window. Installations will not be carried out on ascending sections of staircases. Windows above stair winder treads and above ascending stairs cannot have blinds installed.

User Guide Cleaning & Maintenance
Care & Cleaning
Roller & Roman Blinds
Curtains & Pelmets
All window furnishings require some regular cleaning and maintenance in order to preserve their integrity. In all cases, the cleaning process should first be tested in an inconspicuous area.
Most roman and roller blinds simply require regular vacuuming (with an upholstery attachment) in order to keep them in top condition. Do not oil any part or mechanism of the blind, as the oil may get on the fabric and damage it permanently.
It is important to vacuum your curtains regularly with the appropriate attachment. This will prevent dust from accumulating and gradually becoming embedded in the fabric.
Generally, surface dust may be removed with a gentle brush, feather duster or clean, dry cloth and wiped with a dry sponge. However, each window furnishing will have slightly different instructions. Stain Removal To remove wet embedded stains, sponge blind clean with a damp cloth. Use a small amount of diluted washing liquid in warm water and avoid rubbing the stain. Do not immerse blinds in water. Do not use this method with timber window furnishings – use ammonium free general use spray, spraying onto a cloth first and then wipe onto surface. Spot Cleaning Small dry marks may be rubbed off quite effectively with a gum-based eraser (available in most art supply stores). If this fails, use the method described in the paragraph above Mould Prevention Many fabrics are treated with mould repelling agents, however under certain conditions even these preventative agents can prove ineffective. High levels of humidity inside your house can lead to mould growth on any surface, including your blinds. Mould is most commonly found in areas such as bathrooms, but any room could have a humidity problem. When the warm air inside your home comes in contact with the cold glass of your window, condensation can occur. This can trap a layer of moisture between your windows and your blinds over time, and may lead to the growth of mould. Proper ventilation is the simplest way to reduce humidity levels. However where this is not possible, installing a de-humidifier will assist.

Aluminium Venetian Blinds To clean the slats of venetian blinds, we recommend the use of a clean anti-static duster or cloth. For stubborn stains we recommend you wash your blinds with a mild detergent, and thoroughly rinse with clean water. Dry thoroughly before re-hanging. Do not use harsh abrasive or solvent based chemicals as these cause irreparable damage to your blind.
Fauxwood Venetian Blinds Cleaning venetians may be done with the soft brush of a vacuum cleaner or feather duster. Do not use a damp or wet cloth. Do not use silicone-based products for cleaning. Dust blinds frequently to avoid dust build up.
Engineered Composite Wood & ABS We recommend regular dusting of shutters to avoid dust build up, with a soft dust brush or soft microfibre cloth. You can use a mild detergent with a soft cloth to wipe each shutter blade clean. Do not use a kitchen cleaner e.g. Ajax or a scouring pad, as this can permanently damage the shutters.
Timber Plantation Shutters We recommend regular dusting of shutters to avoid dust build up, with a soft dust brush or soft microfibre cloth. If shutters are a natural timber, you may need to use a soft cloth and a non-wax polish. Avoid using water or other liquid methods as this can damage the timber and could lead to warping or bowing. If there are stubborn stains, we recommend using an ammonium-free general use spray: spray onto cloth first and then wipe onto surface.
If curtains require cleaning, please follow cleaning instructions according to the care label attached to the product. Remove all hooks, and in the case of pencil or gathered headings, loosen the drawstrings (but do not remove). Always allow for 3% shrinkage with dry cleaning. It is recommended that matching items be cleaned together. Remove all spills immediately using a clean damp cloth. Do not rub or soak the fabric but dab gently.
Wirefree Automation Surface dust may be removed with a gentle brush, feather duster or clean, dry cloth and wiped with a dry sponge. To remove any small marks, use a gum-based eraser.
User Guide Operation Instructions, Safety Instructions & Warranty Statement
Single & Dual Roller Blinds
Roman Blinds
Safety Instructions
Roller blinds are finished without side hems and have ultrasonically sealed edges. Please ensure that the blind rolls up and down straightly by raising and lowering the blind with moderate speed. Avoid letting the chain rub on the edge of the fabric as this can result in fraying of the fabric.
Roman blind operation is with a chain, as per the roller blind. Do not pull on the fabric to operate the roman, use the chain provided. Avoid letting the chain rub on the edge of the fabric of the roman blind.
Warning:
Do not pull on the fabric to operate the blind, use the chain provided. Ensure that you never unroll the total length of fabric from the roller. When rolling your blind up or down, the chain should be held in a vertical position. Avoid using excessive force when operating the blind, as this may cause damage to the chain mechanism and/or the fabric. Following these steps will ensure that: — The fabric is not damaged — The amount of noise is limited when operating the blind — The blind will lift evenly
The cleat will be installed 1600mm or more above floor level. Lovelight will fit a child safety device in the most secure position.
Aluminium Venetian Blinds Before raising the blinds, always ensure that the slats are tilted fully open. When opening the window behind the blind, always raise the blind first. Pushing your hand through the slats will cause unnecessary wear and tear on your blind.
Timber Shutters Ensuring your hands are clean, you can just grab lightly any of the timber blades to open the shutter. Please ensure that there are no obstructions that may hit and damage a blade, i.e. a key lock for a window, or a window winder.
Curtains & Pelmets Keep curtain track and rod channels free of dust. Always use the flick stick to operate. INCORRECT
CORRECT
Young children can strangle themselves in the loop of chains and cords that run through window coverings. To avoid strangulation and entanglement keep cords out of reach of young children.
