ASSISTANT COACH

This is Coach Schein’s 16th year coaching at Hershey. He started as an assistant coach for the club program, and took over as head coach in 2008. In 2009 he helped transition the program into a PIAA recognized sport. He played his collegiate career at the University of Maine, and first started coaching in the late ‘90s at a youth camp in Southern Maine. Coach has since enjoyed watching student athletes learn and play the sport at a high level, as well as go on to bigger and better things inside and outside the sport of lacrosse.

Coach Briggs is in his 5th year on the high school coaching staff.

He has coached youth lacrosse in Hershey for the past 12 years, and received his coaching certification from US Lacrosse. Andy began playing lacrosse while attending the Northfield Mount Herman School in Massachusetts.

He attended Rutgers University where he played in the Division 1 NCAA playoffs in 1984 and captained the 1985 team. After graduation, Andy played for the Eagle’s Eye Lacrosse Club in Philadelphia for over 10 years.
