GETTING TO CAMBRIDGE

GETTING INTO AND AROUND CAMBRIDGE IS MUCH EASIER THAN YOU MIGHT THINK. WHY NOT TRAVEL:

ON PARK & RIDE

Park in one of the 5 car parks spread across the main radial routes into Cambridge and catch the bus into the city centre. Parking is free for up to 18 hours. Park & Ride Return tickets are £3.50 and with this ticket up to three children travel for free. The Park & Ride Group Ticket is £10.50 and allows a group of up to 5 people to travel together. A small group ticket (1 x adult and 2 x young people or 3 x young people) is only £6.50. More information: cambridgeparkandride.info

By Bus

Getting into the heart of the city centre by bus is easy – many of the routes within the city centre operate on a 10-minute frequency and to those places a bit further afield, 20 or 30 minute frequencies are common place. The Cambridgeshire Guided Busway provides reliable, fast and frequent connections between Cambridge, St Ives, Huntingdon and beyond with its direct track into the city. More information: stagecoachbus.com/ promos-and-offers/east/the-busway

BY TRAIN

Cambridge Railway Station is about 20-minute walk (1 mile) or 10-minute cycle ride from the City Centre. In addition, there are numerous local buses and taxis available to provide convenient links between the railway station and the city centre.

By Car

Cambridge has four centrally located multi-storey car parks and three surface car parks that provide parking. The car parks are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and operate on a pay on foot basis. Parking after 6pm in city centre car parks is free of charge. BY BIKE
