Smiling Jonas!

Jonas has never stopped smiling since we saved him a little over a year ago. We first met Jonas in the mountains where he was working as a “slave child.” When we rescued him, he had never been to school, never had three meals a day, and on most days, nothing to eat at all! It took a while for Jonas to understand love and hugs! Jonas is now in school, and he loves his Love A Child family.

Jackson's Story

Jackson has had kidney failure since we brought him out of the mountains of Savaan Pit about five years ago. He had Kwashiorkor Malnutrition, and he was “skin and bones” and full of water. We had sent him on many trips to the doctors here in Haiti. Several months ago, he had gone to a doctor and hospital here in Haiti to have a “port” put in for Dialysis. We needed a “Pediatric Dialysis machine” to continue to treat him. By a miracle of God, one of our donors sponsored this machine! We sent two of our nurses to the Dominican Republic, to train on the machine… The dialysis machine for Jackson is now back here at our Children’s Home where we have a special room that has been sterilized and sanitized. It runs all night, and in the morning, Jackson is able to go to school. We give God all the Praise!
