To Enjoy Your Evening

WRISTBANDS

The wristband, along with your punch card will provide you with access and food at each participating restaurant. Drinks may be purchased at each stop, but are not included.

PUNCH CARDS

Please present your punch card at each restaurant when receiving food. The punch card will also help you track that you have visited all the participating restaurants. At your last stop of the evening, please use the punch card to vote for your favorite dish and deposit it in the bright yellow voting boxes.

VOTING

At the last restaurant you visit, please remember to vote for the one dish you liked the most from throughout the evening. The People’s Choice Award is highly coveted by the restaurants. Make your selection on the punch card and deposit in the bright yellow boxes available at each restaurant. The People’s Choice Award and The Judge’s Choice will be posted on www.TheSanAntonioRiverWalk.com the following day.

FEATURED DRINKS

Most restaurants are selling a Featured Drink, small pour size with a small price, so you can enjoy pairing your food with drinks along the way. You are welcome to order the drink of your choice at each restaurant. All drinks are sold. Ice cold Bud Light will be served at every stop along the way! Beer and wine are allowed on the River Walk and barges between restaurants, but ONLY if they are in a non-glass container.

EXECUTIVE CHEF

Citrus at Valencia Riverwalk

Executive Chef Anthony Mesa leads the innovative culinary team at the award-winning Citrus Restaurant, located in the chic Hotel Valencia Riverwalk. He has created a contemporary menu that showcases gastronomic influences from Spanish, Italian, Mexican and New American cuisines. Originally from Southern California, Chef Mesa put down roots in San Antonio in 2006, keeping his finger on the pulse of San Antonio’s continually evolving food scene ever since. Knowing from an early age that the fast-paced restaurant environment was the career path for him, Chef Mesa enrolled in Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Los Angeles, earning an associate’s degree. After graduating, he earned his professional cooking chops at the Penchanga Resort and Casino, the largest casino in the state of California. He then signed on as Banquet Chef at the Westin Riverwalk, where his leadership skills in the kitchen quickly became apparent. Before coming to Citrus, Chef Mesa served as Sous Chef for the RK Group for seven years, organizing and operating multiple banquets from small plated dinners to large dinner receptions at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. The menu at Citrus features imaginative twists on classic dishes such as paella, pasta, duck and seafood. It emphasizes locally sourced ingredients produced by environmentally responsible means, complemented by flavors from around the globe. Chef Mesa’s favorite aspect of being a chef is being able to creatively experiment with fresh ingredients and innovative cooking techniques, allowing him to constantly learn and grow as a professional. hef Camron Woods has spent twenty-one years fine-tuning his culinary talents at several high-end resorts. Most recently Woods was been part of the preopening team of The Ranch at Laguna Beach. For two years he has been leading the Culinary and Beverage teams in completely remodeling, re-branding and revamping this historic local icon of Laguna Beach, California. Prior to The Ranch at Laguna Beach, Camron spent 7 years as executive chef of Amaya La Jolla and at the Grand Del Mar Resort, a Five Star, Five Diamond property. Before moving to San Diego to open The Grand Del Mar, he was restaurant chef at Four Seasons Great Exuma in the Bahamas and restaurant chef at the award-winning Four Seasons Atlanta. Active in the culinary world, he has appeared many times on news programs such as KUSI TV’s “Good Morning San Diego” and participated in special charity events including Mama’s Kitchen, The San Diego Council on Literacy’s “Eat.Drink.Read.” fundraiser, The Boys and Girls Club, and many others.
