A blending of the ideas ‘NuLu’ and the French word ‘ nouveau ’ , NouLou Chamber Players is a vibrant ensemble of classical musicians who curate concerts and give deeply moving performances in a multitude of locations based in Louisville, Kentucky. Their salon style of performing in intimate settings is reminiscent of the way chamber music was enjoyed centuries ago, but with their fresh take and modern flair. They also continue with the city of Louisville’s historic commitment to furthering musical innovation worldwide through commissions, premieres and recording projects.

Cellist Nicholas Finch and the NouLou Chamber Players are honored to bring you three scintillating new works for cello and orchestra, straight out of one of America’s greatest cities for new music - the city of Louisville. An album forged through friendship and common cause, Alyssa Weinberg, Dorian Wallace, and Ljova bring you an exciting and all-too-relevant journey through color, humor, grief, pain, hope, and the consequences of our technological age. Join us as we explore the raw essence of our new age of anxiety, thanks to the composers’ and performers’ incredible commitment to tradition and innovation.
