While we don’t have a lot of news from golf or social events, we do want to share some updates with the course and some club policy changes that will take place starting next season. We want to thank those of you that have completed the Food & Beverage and the Golf Operations Surveys. Please be on the look for Membership survey in July. Upcoming Communications 2021-2022 Membership Category Upgrade & Membership Commitment Letter You must indicate if you will be continuing your membership for the 2021-2022 season. You will be financially committed to the 2021-2022 season as of October 1, 2021. Current Social, Limited Play, and Afternoon members may choose at this time to upgrade to Full Golf for the 2021-2022 season. All requests will be accommodated. After September 1st, anyone wishing to upgrade will have to go on the waiting list.
The following is the new Leave of Absence policy. Currently, the Board is not accepting LOA requests while we are closed.

Send request to the Membership Director in writing. LOAs are for medical reasons only. Unusual non-medical cases will be considered. Requires a Doctors Note. Membership Committee will present to the Board for approval. If Rejected, you may not choose to move to a Social Membership. If approved, you will pay full Capital Dues plus a $500 fee while on LOA. The minimum time on LOA is 3 months. The LOA ends on October 31st each year. You may apply for a 2nd LOA for the following season. All those on LOA may eat/drink or play cards at the club but the use of golf facilities is NOT permitted.

Afternoon Members
May play in the mornings during From May 1 to Oct.31 ( Previous: restricted to after 12pm in the summer ) The goal of the club is to encourage all members to become Full Golf Members while ensuring the rights and privileges of the current Full Golf Member are the best of what we offer.
While our dues are Annual Dues, we allow members to choose to pay them over 12 months in equal payments. Those choosing that option must now either agree to use ACH ( auto withdrawal from your checking account ) or pay an annual fee of $250. We will be sending out a survey form to select your choice.
Well, we don’t really want a mug shot but we want your picture for the Member Directory. This helps the staff and other members to get to know you. We want all members’ pictures including spouse. Each picture sent gets an entry in the raffle. The Fazio Fivesome Charity Auction
The proceeds will be shared equally among the Palm Beach Habilitation Center, Big Dog Rescue, and the winner’s charity of choice
The winner will be able to invite 3 fellow members to join him or her for an 18-hole round of golf on the day before the official opening of the new Lost City Golf Club. The renovation of the kitchen floors is underway. All the flooring in the kitchen area, back service area, employee restrooms, employee break room and the laundry room will be new and completed by August. Our kitchen staff, lead by Chef Glenn, moved most of the kitchen equipment, the entire laundry room, the washer and dryer, and the dry storage room products to the main dining room in preparation for the new floors. They painted the walls as well. The walk-in cooler refrigerator was deep cleaned and we are waiting to get the new food shelving installed shortly. Behind the scenes while the kitchen is closed and under construction, Chef Glenn is working on codifying the standard of procedures for the kitchen, A Training Manual, and the Lost City Recipe Book and menus for future events. Finally, in September, once the floors are completed, the staff will be called back to put it all together. We are planning a Labor Day cookout, The Lobster Fest and The Feast of San Genaro.
