Welcome With our amazing facility, this is a great time to be a Member at Lost City Golf Club, and the upcoming season is jam packed with events for everyone. As such, we’re excited to introduce our new season calendar! This comprehensive booklet outlines all of our major social and golfing events for the upcoming season. You will find a section dedicated to every aspect of Club life and we’re confident there is something for everyone in the months ahead. This is definitely a must-have for every Member, and we hope that you enjoy using all of this great information as much as the team enjoyed working to put it together. Covid-19 Policies & Rules Our number one priority here at the Lost City Golf Club will always be the health and safety of our club members and staff members. Palm Beach County has lifted many COVID-19 restrictions. Wearing face masks indoors (except while dining) and practicing six-foot social distancing outdoors are still requirements. We have instated our special COVID-19 policies for the health and safety of all concerned. Some of the information below may be repetitive to our year-round members but will serve as important first-time information for our returning seasonal members. We ask our club members to treat our staff with respect should they remind you of these policies. Any member’s inability to treat staff with respect may lead to disciplinary action – up to and including membership termination.
~ Mask must be worn in the Golf Shop. ~ Mask must be worn in the Locker Room. ~ Mask must be worn in the Clubhouse. ~ Mask must be worn in Dining Room until seated. ~ Mask should be worn when you cannot socially distance. * All staff members are asked to courteously enforce these rules. Please be respectful of their task to ensure your safety.
Covid-19 Policies & Rules Golf Cart Riding • Club owned carts will be shared by 2 players. • If you wish to have a divider, they will be available at your request. Golf Course • Course set up will be as normal (pool noodles will remain on the flagsticks). o Flagstick and rakes may be handled at the discretion of the player. • On course water available. o No cups will be distributed by the Club. • On Course Restrooms o Normal restroom availability. Registering For Play • Maintain Golf Reservations for Saturday and Sunday before noon. • No reservations required Monday thru Friday or weekends after noon. • Members inviting guests to play golf must make a golf reservation by sending an email to lostcitygolftimes@gmail.com • 8-minute time intervals. • Shotgun starts will be allowed with proper social distancing and masks worn in the staging area, on the putting green, and around the clubhouse prior to and following play. Practice Facility • Normal operations. (Masks must be worn when social distancing cannot be observed.) Club Storage and Bag Handling • Bag storage and bag handling resumes. o Any member or guest may request the staff not handle their bag if so desired. • Outside service operation resumes. Locker Rooms • Normal operations with masks worn in the building and social distancing as much as possible. • Showers may be used. o Members must bring their own towel. Towels will not be given out or handled by staff. Golf Shop • Golf Shop is open with masks and social distancing being observed. • Normal procedures for reservations and check-in. • Payment/Credit Card Handling-Normal operations. Supplies (Scorecards, Tees, Pencils) • Normal operations although towels will not be given out. Teaching and Coaching/Club Fitting • All teaching and coaching is allowed on site-Normal operations
Covid-19 Policies & Rules Dining Masks • Masks are required throughout the clubhouse except when seated in our dining and bar areas. Seating • Presently we are limited to 50% of our chairs and bar stools in our dining and bar areas. • Standing at the bar is prohibited unless placing an order. Guests • Members inviting guests for lunch or dinner must make a dining reservation by calling 561-966-7606 or by sending an email to resevations@lostcitygolf.com
Golf Shop Hours: 7:30 a.m.—5:00 p.m. every day Practice Facility Hours: 7:30 a.m. to sunset every day, except Wednesday & Sundays when it will close at 3:00 p.m. for maintenance. Golf Course Hours: 8:00 a.m. to sunset every day
The 2020-2021 golf season is upon us and the Golf Committee, Jason Brown and his staff have been working hard to prepare an amazing season of golf for our members and guests. Please be familiar with the Club’s dress code and make guest aware of proper dress prior to arriving at the Club.
PLEASE NOTE: Tuesday morning is Ladies’ Day – men may play after 11:00 a.m.

All players must check in with the starter prior to play
All players in club run events must have a current USGA approved handicap.

Ladies Tournaments & Events WOMEN’S MAJORS The women have three major tournaments in which to compete. The participants in these events epitomize what golf is all about; competitive and kind sportsmanship! These events are a great way to test your mental preparedness for the game of golf.

WOMEN’S GOLF ASSOCIATION TUESDAYS, NOVEMBER-MARCH FORMATS VARY – 18 HOLES Every Tuesday morning women come together to meet new members and play with friends. 9:00 a.m. Shotgun is the typical starting time. Sign up individually for whichever events you would like to play in and the golf staff will take care of the pairing for you. Online entry via USGA Tournament Management is available. It includes weekly, live scoring, and instant results emailed to all members at the completion of the event.
WOMEN’S 9 HOLE LEAGUE TUESDAYS, NOVEMBER-MARCH FORMATS VARY – 9 HOLES Every Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. With once per month parties and fun, inviting atmosphere, this group of ladies set the standards for enjoyment of our Club and friendship. If you are just beginning to play the game or appreciate the shorter round of golf, this is the perfect group for you.
WOMEN’S MEMBER-GUEST DAY TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2021 Featuring an 18 hole format, with a special theme for the day. Take this opportunity to show your friends what being a member of Lost City Golf Club is all about. From great course conditions, to camaraderie that can only be found here. Exquisite food and service will be on full display for you and your guest. A 12”30 p.m. shotgun starts with lunch prior to play and dinner and awards to follow.
Men’s Tournaments & Events MEN’S THREE DAY MEMBER-GUEST FEBRUARY 11, 12, AND 13, 2021 Two-man teams compete in five (5) nine-hole matches in Flights with an optional skins pool. Following the 5th match, each flight winner will proceed to a four-hole shootout to crown an overall Champion!! Food and beverage provided daily.

Each Wednesday one of our three 9 holes courses will be designated as the Skins Course. Play anytime of day with at least one other player who is also participating in the skins and turn your card in when finished. Members from all groups and tee combinations are welcome to play by simply registering in the Golf Shop prior to teeing off.
Each Wednesday morning. 10:30 a.m. Shotgun is the typical starting time. Experienced and new golfers alike are welcome to play. In addition to playing in this weekly event, participants may join the Skins Game as well. If you like fun and golf, this is the group for you.

Mixed Tournaments & Events SUNDAY GOLF EVENTS Nov , Dec, Jan, Feb, March
TGIF FRIDAYS, NOVEMEBER –March 4 PERSON SCRAMBLE – 9 HOLE With a few exceptions, TGIF is held every Friday, November thru March. 3:30 p.m. shotgun in daylight savings time, 3:00 p.m. shotgun during standard time. Teams usually consist of two men and two women (max two men per team). You can either make your own group or ask the golf shop to find you partners. TGIF is the highest attended weekly event at the Club. With it’s 9-hole scramble format, it is a great opportunity for players of all skill levels to mix up their partners and have a great afternoon. Dinner is available after golf.
Sunday, Funday!! You can play in these five events with whomever you choose. Each will have an event with a unique format for your foursome. The January event is a special event in which each group with have a PGA Ambassador playing with their group. All events will start with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun.
MIXED CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP MARCH 36 Hole Stroke Play – 2 different 18-hole formats will be used for this event. 1:00 p.m. shotgun start each day partner up with your spouse or favorite golf partner. Each team consists of one man and one woman for this Championship Event. The first 18-hole round will be Better Ball of Partners and the second 18-hole round with a Pinehurst (Hit, Switch, Alternate) format. This event crowns both net and gross champions
CAN-AM: 22ND ANNIVERSARY JANUARY 27 – 29, 2021 The marquee event of the year brings the entire Club together for three (3) days of patriotic cheer. Offering three divisions; men’s, women’s and mixed teams, and with multiple 9-hole formats, you can participate as much as you wish to support your team. After the first day of play the men have a cocktail party, on day two, the ladies have a cocktail party, and the dinner at the end of the event is one of the biggest nights at the Club.

DINING & SOCIAL Well, November is here and we are planning our schedule for the season. We are so grateful to our members for supporting our Food & Beverage operation through these trying times and to the staff for learning to adapt to a new way of doing business. Here’s a list of recurring events and info to keep in mind: We will be open for lunch 7 days a week, from 11am to 2:30pm (Saturday till 3pm) with an improved a la carte menu and daily specials. We will be open for Dinner three nights a week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday You will be able to Dine Indoors or Outdoors and can call in a pick up or delivery. Club will be open on certain Saturday nights for special events. Monday Night Mixers will feature our traditional a la carte menu with weekly specials and live Piano Players. Wednesday is our Pub Night with Happy from 4pm to 6pm when you will receive a $1.00 off all beverages (Dine in only). Kitchen will be open until 8pm. We will be mixing Bocce with Trivia and Outdoor Movie Night on Wednesdays. Literary Society will be held on the third Wednesday of every month starting at 9:30am. Bingo will be back starting in December on the second Thursday of the month at 1pm in the Main Dining Room. Friday Night TGIF Dinners will be served a la carte, with a choice of appetizer, entrée and dessert. Sundays will feature an la carte lunch menu with Brunch Specials like Eggs Benedict and a Smoked Salmon Platter, accompanied by Tailored Bloody Marys and Mimosas. Lost City Golf Club will be happy to host your Corporate, Anniversary, or Birthday event in our Dining Room as well as and cater in your home! We ask that you place your take out order and make reservations early so our culinary team can prepare and satisfy everyone’s needs. RESERVATION Reservation Protocol Special club events and holiday dinners are popular events that sell out and required the purchase of special food and beverage products, equipment, entertainment, etc. Last minute cancellations (including changes to the party number) cause the Club to incur unnecessary expenses if the reservation is not replaced. As a result, the Club must exercise a firm enforcement of the special event and holiday policy: ~ At the time of making your reservation for the special events, we will charge your account 100% of the event price. ~ Please let us know if you have other members dining with you, so we may contact them. ~ You may cancel 24 hours prior to the event, without being charged ~ If you cancel less than 24 hours prior to the event, you will have to pay 100% of the event price. ~ If you are signed up for a golf event, you are automatically signed up for the dinner event that follows unless you notify us otherwise.
