Lost City Golf Club Covid Guide Lines Update
Dear Lost City Golf Club Members, We understand there is a wide range of opinions among our club members as to what Covid rules and protocols the club should follow. We have done our best to listen to all opinions while adhering to the laws and guidelines of Palm Beach County and the state of Florida. Currently, the state of Florida recommends wearing masks and maintaining a social distance of 6 feet or more while Palm Beach County requires wearing masks and recommends all maintain a social distance of 6 feet or more. Private clubs are permitted to create their own rules and protocols. So far, our members, guests, and staff and have done a great job adhering to our Covid Club Rules. According to our insurance brokers who have accounts with most clubs in South Florida, we have the lowest rate of reported positive cases of all clubs in that area. However, with the anticipated return of many of our club members who were away for the summer or winter holidays and will be returning now, we have revised our present rules to help ensure all of our members, guests, and staff have a safe and comfortable winter season. Further, due to the large number of guests that will be playing golf and dining outdoors during Member-Guest Week, we have added additional protocols for that time. Preferring to err (if we must) on the side of caution, we respectfully request adherence to the following guidelines by members and their guests returning to the State of Florida and the Lost City Golf Club this winter: Self-Monitoring: •We encourage you to get a Covid test immediately upon your arrival in Florida. •If you are sick, please stay home.
