Collectible Catalog

Welcome to the Collectible Catalog for Lost City Books’ summer sale! The used books at our store are a big part of what makes Lost City Books special and unique. The name of the shop, meant to evoke something maybe forgotten, still useful, and waiting to be rediscovered, also to me says it all about our Used Books Program here- our mission is not only to have really amazing and cool used books, but to keep books in people’s hands and out in the world. This catalog pulls together some of our more interesting collectible fare: stuff that I really want you all to see and have available to you during our sale, whether you are crossing future gifts off your list, or treating yourself. There are some big ticket items and some obscure stuff. I could go on, but I think the ethos of the Used Books Department here and the shop in general can be summed up with a simple and unadorned “this is some cool shit.” So enjoy, find something cool, and remember to look up during the sale, as these items will be featured above our shelves and upon our wall, in addition to our collectibles case.
