CAMP: WHERE FAITH BECOMES LIFE What is Lutherans Outdoors? Lutherans Outdoors in South Dakota provides camping and retreating programs for people of all ages and all abilities. Lutherans Outdoors is a ministry of the congregations of the South Dakota Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and the Wyoming Conference of the Rocky Mountain Synod, and is open to people of all denominations of faith. Youth Camp YOUTH CAMP | GRADES 3-8 June 20-25 and July 25-20 Hike and canoe, ride horse, worship around a campfire, grow in faith during Bible study, meet camp counselors and friends, play lots of fun games, and experience many more camp activities. PRICE: Before April 15th : $450 | After : $600

ADVENTURES | GRADES 7-12 June 20-25, June 27-July 2, July 4-9, July 11-16, July 18-23, July 25-30, and August 1-6 This small-group adventure experience includes fullday or part-day adventures such as hiking or overnight backpacking, biking on the Mickelson Trail, lake and creek kayaking, caving, service projects, and the low ropes challenge course and trail ride. Family Camp FAMILY CAMP | ALL AGES June 27-July 2, July 4-9, July 11-16, July 18-23, and August 1-6 Enjoy a quality, faith centered, and all inclusive vacation for families of ALL varieties! Join guest Bible study speakers, musicians, and staff for a relaxed atmosphere in the Black Hills. Service SERVANT CAMP IN THE BLACK HILLS | GRADES 8-12 June 27-July 2, July 4-9, July 11-16, July 18-23, July 25-30, and August 1-6 Join Outlaw Ranch for a week of Servant Camp in the beautiful Black Hills. This is a custom-designed week of Christian service for Senior High Youth, with the option of adding a day of Adventure programming. Youth Camp EXPLORERS | GRADES 3-6 July 5-7 and July 7-9 This intro into camp is a great way to spend a few days enjoying all that camp has to offer including sleeping in cabins, tie-dying, swimming at the beach, enjoying great camp food, and growing in faith through Bible study and worship. PRICE: Before April 15th: $250 | After : $400

ELEMENTARY YOUTH CAMP | GRADES 3-6 July 11-16, July 18-23, and July 25-30

Enjoy a week of Bible camp that includes worship, Bible study, games, crafts, and great camp food. Campers will experience small-group, community living while spending many of their waking hours in-and-on the lake. PRICE: Before April 15th : $450 | After : $600

JUNIOR HIGH YOUTH CAMP | GRADES 7-9 July 18-23 and July 25-30

Bible study, swimming, crafts, games, worship, and an overnight camp out at Pickerel Lake State Park are all on the list for this Jr High experience. Campers will also find their week filled with fun water activities involving kayaks and Stand-Up-Paddleboards! PRICE: Before April 15th : $450 | After : $600

Inter-generational 1-2-3 CAMP | GRADES 1-3 AND AN ADULT July 5-7 and July 7-9

This is an introductory camp experience for kids and parents, grandparents, or guardians. Enjoying a fastmoving half week experience together. Counselor-led Bible studies for the children and pastor-led Bible study for the adults! PRICE: Child: $125 | Adult: $175

Specialty CONFIRMATION CAMP | GRADES 5-10 June 13-18, June 20-25, June 27-July 2, and August 1-6 This camp is for congregations seeking a memorable experience for their Confirmation students. The week provides a classic Bible camp experience while setting aside time each day for pastors and youth leaders to lead their group in time together. PRICE: Before April 15th : $450 | After : $600

KAYAK CAMP | GRADES 6-9 July 4-9 At Kayak camp, campers will learn basic kayak skills and build them throughout the week. After practicing their skills on beautiful Lake Enemy Swim, campers will head to Roy Lake for an exciting paddle and overnight camping experience! PRICE: Before April 15th : $475 | After : $625

MUSIC CAMP | GRADES 5-9 August 1-6 Music Camp provides campers an opportunity to share their musical talents and abilities. FISHING CAMP | GRADES 3-6 OR 7-9 July 11-16 for 3-6th Grade | July 4-9 for 7-9th Lake Enemy Swim is full of fish waiting to be caught! Enjoying fishing from boats and our beautiful shoreline while learning new skills! Youth Camp YOUTH CAMP | GRADES 6-8 June 13-18, June 20-25, June 27-July 2, July 4 - 9, July 11-16, and July 18-23 Located on a western horse ranch, Klein Ranch emphasizes horsemanship, small group living, natural and historic awareness, and teamwork. Campers will have the opportunity to grow in their faith with their counselors, while also making new friends, exploring the country on horseback, hiking the mini-badlands, and learning to take care of the animals. Campers will also get to expand their faith and build community by attending worship at a Native American church. Additional activities include camping out under the stars, water games at the Grand River and visits with neighboring ranchers. Come for a week of Wild West fun! COUNSELOR OR WRANGLER-IN-TRAINING | GRADES 10-12 July 4 - 9, July 11-16, or July 18-23 Experience a new side of camp! For those who have interest in becoming a Wrangler or Counselor at Klein Ranch, this program gives you a chance to shadow and train with staff, assisting with all aspects of leadership with campers and horses. Register once for mandatory training, then you can pick one or two additional weeks to work with the staff. Please contact info@losd.org to set up your additional weeks after registering.
