What's we observe from the field investigation? Taiwan is located in a Subtropical zone and the weather is hot and humid, but obviously the apparent temperature is beyond our expectations. The proper noun of this situation called the Urban Heat Island Effect. The main reason for cause Urban Heat Island Effect is from the dense skyscrapers and asphalt roads will release the heat, in the meanwhile, the trees are not enough for the cities. Those factors decline the flows from winds, thus lead to the rising temperature in the cities.

Summary of Customer Journey There are many facilities she needs to pass through during the walk. Because of the Urban Heat Island Effect, she gets hot and humid easily on streets. The facilities release the heat severely, however, she can't avoid going out for buying snacks. Briefly speaking, we need to balance the existing problem and natural phenomena.

DESIGN CORE
Design Core Global warming makes the weather higher than the past, this causes the Urban Heat Island Effect. It has affected severely in urban areas for a long time, which makes the public facilities are easily damaged. Thanks to the weather, transportation, and human beings, we have rethought about combining the existing equipment and natural resources as solutions. On the other hand, we figure out that water easily gets wasted, so we desire to make good use of the characteristics of water to cool down the temperature in urban areas, and make those water can be restored and utilized sufficiently.

Layouts We have capture one road for simulating the layouts. The pedestrians can enjoy walking under the shade, and the CITY WATER PLUS can be set commonly to reach great impacts.

CITY WATER PLUS CITY WATER PLUS has two looks. One is combined with street light as the picture on the right side, the other is on the sidewalk for pedestrians to walk in the shadow and enjoy the cool under the facility. CITY WATER PLUS is not only for a nightlight but also can store the water for spreading the cooling steam. Besides, the pumps are utilized for making whole water recycle in a technical way. When people walk through the streets, their feelings of heat will be decreased. The more water is utilized as a stream, the weather in urban areas are more comfortable for the pedestrian.

How the water cycle works in CITY WATER PLUS? We simulate the progress which is similar to the creatures' transpiration. Moreover, we present how CITY WATER PLUS works, no matter in the daytime or nighttime, this facility obeys the principle ''Cradle to Cradle'' and runs the whole system in an eco-friendly way. As the creatures' transpiration we mentioned above, when the rainfall down to the grounds, the bricks, and the soil will absorb the water. Then the pump inside CITY WATER PLUS will let the water be purified and spread when it detected the weather is too hot for people.
