THE LORETO KIRRIBILLI BURSARY FUND

Mother Gonzaga Barry brought Loreto to Australia in 1875 and to Sydney in 1892. From origins in Randwick, a new chapter began at Kirribilli with the very ‘first ask’ by Mother Philomena Heaton to her mother, Sarah, for the purchase of Elamang in 1907. From this early generosity grew the Loreto education from which so many have experienced and profited. Whilst our girls are privileged to receive a Loreto education, it also becomes a responsibility for us to give back to others and embrace the true meaning of community. The spirit of giving aligns with the values and social justice initiatives we teach our students at Loreto Kirribilli. Our Loreto values are the essence of a Loreto Kirribilli education - Verity, Felicity, Freedom, Sincerity and Justice. Social justice remains at the heart of a Loreto Kirribilli education, and your generosity towards the Loreto Kirribilli Bursary Fund will enable others to also benefit from this education.
