Volume 30 - 6 October, 2015 Dear Parents & Students How wonderful it is to be home after three months abroad. In my 13 weeks away, for which I feel immensely grateful, my husband and I were fortunate to visit 12 different countries. In each we found, experienced and enjoyed: places of great beauty, both natural and man-made; people of genuine kindness, hospitality and welcome; holy and spiritual places of sacredness and prayer; personal encounters with works of art that truly moved and touched deeply one’s soul; and the opportunity to learn and to be enriched in so many ways. None of this would have been possible for me without the support and encouragement of the School Council and the College Leadership Team. I offer my sincere thanks to them all but most especially to Ms Carty for her wonderful and generous leadership in my absence. I express my heartfelt thanks also to Ms Annie Diamond and Mrs Rosemary O’Neill both of whom also took on additional responsibilities for the term. My time away was certainly a time of renewal and refreshment. There were many highlights, far too many to mention here. In time I hope to share with you more of this experience but for now I offer these two photos.
