Volume 32- 21 October, 2014 Dear Parents and Students It is with great pleasure I proclaim that “Cruci” is now officially open and that the Year 11 homeclasses will move into this wonderful learning space this week to enable us time to prepare the “Mulwith” building for Year 7 occupancy next year. On Sunday many visitors joined us for the Opening, the Art Show and Live & Wired. It was simply a wonderful occasion to have so many people here celebrating with us and joining in the fun and festivities. I congratulate the students particularly on their fine musical performances and their creative works of Art. Thank you also to the many staff and parent volunteers who helped to make Sunday such a fabulous community experience. I wish to thank Sr Margaret Mary Flynn IBVM - Province Leader of Australia and South East Asia, and Fr Paul Sireh - Parish Priest of Mt Carmel - for opening and blessing our new building. This wonderful new educational space is the end result of a journey which commenced in 2011. It is the product of genuine collaboration and a shared vision. On behalf of our community, especially the students who will benefit from such an intentional and welcoming learning environment, I extend my appreciation to the many who worked so diligently to bring the first stage of our Master Plan to fruition. Loreto thanks:
