The Caritas campaign began last week (on SHROVE TUESDAY) with pancakes being sold and will con nue with other fundraising events un l Easter. Each home class is raising money and awareness on ma ers of poverty and injus ce (www.caritas.org.au).

Project Compassion helps fight poverty and injus ces around the world. Our efforts can open doors to a brighter future. I thank you for your generous support. LENTEN REFLECTION When I see a need do I look away? When I hear of injus ce do I pretend not to hear? Do I harden my heart because I have seen or heard ‘this stuff’ too many mes? What is the one thing that I can do to make a difference? How can I support Project Compassion?
Gracious God As we begin this me of Lent, open the doors of our hearts and minds. Empower us to move beyond our own world to see you in the faces of the poor. Give us the courage to be different and to share what we have. May our ac ons during Lent help to renew the world in your ways of peace and jus ce. We ask this prayer, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
