Volume 24 - 13 August, 2013 Dear Parents and Students The Catholic Church, by tradition, dedicates each month of the year to a particular devotion and in August our devotion is the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This represents our Lady’s deep desire that we should follow her Son. Mary’s heart was pure and so too her desire that we should love her Son, our Lord and Saviour. Through Mary we come to Christ just as Christ comes to us through her. In this month of August, as a community founded in honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we pray for Mary’s guidance that we might receive the graces needed to be faithful followers of Christ in all we do and in all we say. SPORTS SUPPORT GROUP MEETING POSTPONED The Sports Support Group meeting, scheduled for this evening has been postponed due to Ms Carty and I both being interstate this week. The revised date and time is Tuesday 27 August at 7.30pm in Room 605 (Gonzaga Barry Building).
