Dear Parents and Students We con nue to hold in our hearts and prayers the pathway to full healing for Mrs Kerry Williams. May the love and the grace of our God enfold and embrace her, during her recovery. May the prayers of our loving community con nue to be with her family as they nurse her in her return journey to full health. We offer profound thanks for the gi s of her doctors and the care of the medical team suppor ng her at this me. Mrs Williams’ family wish to express their deep sense of gra tude and apprecia on to the Loreto Community for your prayers and your many kind expressions of love and support. They thank you sincerely for your con nued prayers and your obvious care and concern for Kerry. They are deeply moved and profoundly thankful. We are most grateful that she is clearly making progress. Loving God, You give us mothers who show us how to live and love. Through them we see a glimpse of your uncondi onal love for us. We offer praise in thanks for these women who have given us life and who have nurtured us. For mothers no longer with us in body, but always with us in our being, our spirit and our essence, We give hear elt thanks for the joy and memory of their love for us. For mothers everywhere we give thanks: In Africa, Asia, the Americas and Europe . . . We give thanks for mothers everywhere. When mes are hard, in situa ons of suffering . . . We give thanks for the sacrifices they make each day for their children. For their examples of love, caring and hope . . . We give thanks for their generosity, their compassion and their hope for the future. In the Congo, Iraq, Uganda, Pales ne, Colombia . . . We remember mothers in our global community who care for their children as guns of war are heard. In Zimbabwe, India, Guyana, Belize, Botswana . . . We remember mothers as sicknesses such as AIDS and malaria ravage their lands. In Hai , Burundi, Eritrea, Cambodia, Guatemala . . . We remember mothers whose access to food and water is scarce. In Sudan, Sri Lanka, Somalia, Afghanistan . . . We remember mothers who bundled up their children, fled their homes, and became refugees. Mary, Mother of God, embrace all mothers, give them strength and courage and mother their spirits so they can con nue to heal the wounds of their children and of the world. We give thanks for mothers everywhere. Amen.
