Landscape Masterplan - Planning SET Erith Quarry Area: The Erith Quarry site, and existing outline permission in its totality has an approximate site area of 20.3 ha. The 2020 Hybrid Application site of 4.64 ha is located centrally within Erith Quarry.

Located within the London Borough of Bexley, Erith Quarry is approximately 1.5km to the west of Erith town centre and a similar distance from Erith and Belvedere train stations on the North Kent National Rail line.

These stations currently connect the site to central London, Greenwich and Dartford.

ART ITINERARY: installations 'Parc Des Aygalades' located in Marseilles, France | Gare de Marseille-Canet.

International Competition regarding the renovation of the industrial area, around 70 ha of the centre of the french City.

The new Project concerning: a new artistic public Park with a new big parking area to the north side and the main entrance with the new tube station and substation - sited to the east side.

The main pathway - shown in the masterplan and onto the diagram - has four different spots, one per each contemporary landart installations.

This pathway display the new artistic EXPO Tunnels, specially designed in order to show contemporary and non-contemporary art works.

The overhead cranes, in yellow color, are also recovered and enhanced, they confer a historical, industrial and artistic value to the project Site.

BIORETENTION SCHEME: The drainage of water network will be conveyed into the underground channels that, in turn, are linked to those of the two tanks of water present onto the project.

General Plan concerning the Monumental Stairway with the inclusion of the new cor-ten steel cladding

COR-TEN steel structure, peculiarities: - Is modulated in coating of each step, so as to follow the shape making an access to the stairway; - it is positioned in the central part of each flight of stairs to a width of 1.4 m in such a way as to allow the passage of two people comfortably and at the same time leaving a clear view of the sides of the original staircase; - It is provided with a thin handrail and minimally invasive which does not cover the old one, but, on the contrary, it is useful for blocking direct access to pre-existing steps (in the high state of degradation) and, therefore, dangerous for the safety of the user.

COR-TEN Steel: I decided to renovate the covering of the monumental stairway in Cor-Ten steel material for three main reasons: - High corrosion resistance (resistance CORrosion); - High mechanical strength (TENsile strength); - Strong aesthetic and contemporary character.
