Ristrutturazione di un piccolo bar in Provenza- Costa Azzurra, Francia. Nella città di mare di Saint-Raphaël vi sono molte strutture di accoglienza e locali di ristorazione sorti grazie al turismo estivo e alla fama della regione geografica a cui essa appartiene. Se da una parte la città produttiva sembra proiettata e sviluppata verso il mare, nell’entroterra invece si sviluppa l’intera area residenziale e dei servizi. Nel mezzo tra le due, in una delle vie storiche è stato inserito un edifcio polifunzionale che si affaccia su di una piazza di forma triangolare. Il locale in questione di appena 42 mq situato in planimetria in una posizione strategica, con l’ ingresso tra la stazione centrale degli autobus e il multisala cinema, si affaccia a sua volta direttamente su una piccola strada di collegamento alla piazza. Puntando sull’economicità di luce e spazi, la disposizione e divisione del bar seguono la soluzione per accogliere il maggior numero di clienti senza tralasciare lo spazio necessario al godimento dell’attività legate al bar. Dotato di due entrate il bar offre un ingresso direttamente sul bancone in legno e su una zona più intima allestita in maniera di piccolo salotto. Mentre invece nel corpo centrale dell’ attività, il mobilio in legno e ferro battuto disegnato su misura punta ad enfatizzare la forma stessa dell’area di progetto suggerendo un movimento di apertura verso il bancone invogliando il cliente ad avvicinarsi . Il colore delle pareti insieme alla materialità e i vari punti luce servono a trasmettere calore e carattere allo spazio del bar che vuole risultare un punto di ristoro per colazioni, pranzi veloci o semplice pausa caffè. In the seaside town of Saint-Raphaël there are many reception facilities and catering establishments built thanks to summer tourism and the fame of the geographical region to which it belongs. If on the one hand the productive city seems projected and developed towards the sea, in the hinterland instead the entire residential area and of services develops. In the middle between the two, in one of the historic streets, a multi-functional building has been inserted which overlooks a triangular square. The local in question of just 42 square meters located in a strategic position in the plan, with the entrance between the central bus station and the cinema multiplex, in turn faces directly onto a small road connecting to the square. Focusing on the cost-effectiveness of light and spaces, the layout and division of the bar follow the solution to accommodate the largest number of customers without neglecting the space necessary for the enjoyment of the bar-related activity. Equipped with two entrances, the bar offers an entrance directly onto the wooden counter and into a more intimate area set up as a small living room. While instead in the central body of the activity, the custom-designed wood and wrought-iron furniture aims to emphasize the shape of the project area itself, suggesting an opening movement towards the counter, encouraging the customer to come closer. The color of the walls together with the materiality and the various points of light serve to transmit warmth and character to the space of the bar that wants to be a refreshment point for breakfasts, quick lunches or a simple coffee break.
