Choi Yeon Jun

Yeonjun was the very first member of TXT to be announced by Big Hit, and is also the oldest member of the group. He has outstanding dancing skills that blows fans away and is also a very talented singer and rapper.

He’s the only member of TXT that is an only child. And he also used to live in the United States during elementary school which is why he’s fluent in English. When the group is creating messages for international fans, Yeonjun is usually the one to take the lead!.

Yeonjun was the longest trainee with Big Hit out of the group, having been there for 4 years before their debut! He had also auditioned for Cube Entertainment prior to joining Big Hit, and he auditioned be dancing to BTS “Boy In Luv”!

Prior to debut, Yeonjun starred in a Ramyeon commercial and also act as a backup dancer for BTS.

Yeonjun has been fun to watch on social media so far and is already getting reputation for writing jokes/puns. He often writes about the cold weather, his excitement for the debut, and how hard they’ve been practicing! The dancer has also revealed that he loves hip hop music and was always number one in dance, singing, and rapping in their monthly evaluations during their trainee days. He’s also joked that the members once thought he was cool but now they only think he’s cute.

Beomgyu teased in a diary that Yeonjun has been studying up on puns, and how cute he is. The other members have also said that he’s sentimental and even cried once while reading a poem. First Impression of Yeonjun

When Soobin joined Big Hit, there’s was a tradition among the trainees of asking the newcomer who they think the most good-looking trainee is. Soonbin chose Yeonjun as the most handsome trainee, because he saw him. Soobin said Yeonjun had a very charismatic aura, with his black hair parted to the side, earrings, and school uniform.

Beomgyu said he was quiet on the first day he joined Big Hit because he wasn’t sure where he fit among the trainees. Back at the dorm that night, Beomgyu was on his phone by himself in the living room. Yeonjun came up to him and told him, ‘Let’s put face masks on together!” and took selfies together so Beomgyu could send them to his mom back home. Beomgyu was grateful that he could show his parents that he was adjusting well in the dorm.
