Snowdonia National Park | 4 Days | 2 days high route trekking | 8 epic summits

Night Trekking Snowdon & High Route Adventure
This mountain adventure will push you physically and mentally as you tackle 8 dramatic Welsh peaks over 3,000ft, journey through ancient glacial landscapes, and summit Snowdon by twilight with the added excitement of descending this iconic mountain by night. An unforgettable expedition through the wild heart of Snowdonia, and an experience you'll never forget.
The Challenge Breakdown:
Day 1: Journey North
Arrive in the stunning Snowdonia National Park by early evening. After a team briefing and supper at our Hostel base, it's time to prepare for two adrenaline-filled days of serious mountain adventure.
Day 2: Carneddau Giants: Conquer the Peaks
Get ready to scale the rugged and remote Carneddau range – home to the highest plateau in England and Wales. Over the course of a challenging day, you’ll summit 7 legendary peaks, all over 3,000ft, with sweeping views across wild valleys and towards the jagged Glyderau range.
We’ll summit these incredible peaks:
Foel Fras – 3,090ft (942m)
Carnedd Gwenllian – 3,038ft (926m)
Foel Grach – 3,202ft (976m)
Carnedd Llewelyn – 3,490ft (1,064m)
Yr Elen – 3,156ft (962m)
Carnedd Dafydd – 3,425ft (1,044m)
Pen Yr Ole Wen – 3,208ft (979m)
This is a tough, demanding, high-altitude traverse – but the views, camaraderie and thrill of conquering it will make for a great sense of accomplishment and adventure.
Distance: approx 10 miles; Ascent: 3,698ft
Day 3: Ogwen Valley & Sunset Snowdon Summit
Begin the day exploring the dramatic Ogwen Valley, with its towering cliffs and glacier-carved scenery. After a short recovery period, we’ll tackle the final challenge: summiting Snowdon – the highest peak in Wales – at sunset. We’ll ascend via the Llanberis Path, a steady but demanding climb of 3/4 hours. With head torches in place, we’ll begin our nighttime descent – an exhilarating finish that will test your resilience and reward you with stories for life. Expect to return to base just before midnight, tired but triumphant.
Distance approx 12 2 miles; Ascent: 4,300ft
