WELCOMING SONJA NELSON!

Early Childhood Ministry Director Sonja Nelson is eager to begin a summertime of faith formation with your children in Vacation Bible School and beyond. Let’s learn more about her:

“I’m originally from Minnesota but grew up in Littleton, Colorado. I grew up as a Lutheran, went to St. Olaf College in Northfield, and began working in churches right out of college. I’ve been in the ministry for over 25years working in Colorado, SouthDakota, and Minnesota. Working with all ages—from the youngest to college ministry—was and is a joy. My last call was at Zion Lutheran Church in GrandRapids, Minnesota, where I worked with all ages. All my extended family lives in the TwinCities, and I’m enjoying spending time with them. Our family has a cabin on Lake Miltona; we love to take vacations to Disney World—that’s my sister and me in front of the Magic Castle!”
